sometimes it's unreal how this weather can be. it is fall but at the start of fall we had tempertures hit 90. within 3 days we had 2 tornado watches. about last week we had a storm with 60 mph winds that did damage in my yard. it took half a tree down then a whole tree. thank goodness it was far away from the house. as of right now we are in a flood warning until friday morning. I was at work and we had leaks everywhere. a tile of the ceiling fell down in footwear. so glad nobody was under that when it fell. I called service desk so that they could clean it up so nobody would fall on that. the only good part about tonight was the store was pretty empty. so there wasn't to much for me to do. I worked with a new girl who works and doesn't slack thank god so we got everything done. I hope everyone has a good night.

I can't sleep. The City Carnival starts Tomorrow. I'm kind of excited. It's traditional and its been a favorite thing of mine since I was a little girl. Now I bring my Sons and they love it. My Family has always made it an everyday thing during the Week plus that it goes on.
Classic brings Batting Cages to raise Charity money. We're wondering if it will bring the same attention this year it has in the past. This was the first Summer he did not play Pro Baseball so we're not sure if the clout of the cages will be the same but he is going to do what he can to raise proceeds for Cystic Fibrosis.
Or course better weather brings more people and makes Carnival activity more fun.

It's making me sick. It'll be like I'm starting a cold, but then it never develops, and I just sleep because I'm tired all the time. It's been hot and cold on and off too. I forgot what state you're from Angel, but I'm from up north and fall sort of came earlier than usual I think.

Angel is from the great commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Allentown area. Allentown is not really near Bradford but the weather is about the same. We had a scorchingly hot end of September except for last weekend it got cold. It was so cold overnight it was nearly frost in the morning but this week it's been mid 70s go figure.
It begins to get cold about now though.

The temperatures are down in the high 60s where they belong here, but in the week prior we had a few 80 degree days. I'm so sick of the summer heat, and even though I'll be out there raking leaves I welcome the comfortable temperatures of Fall.

blastgirl I hope your family had lots of fun at the carnival. I go to them in pa the ones that are close by whenever I can. I love it so much. every year we have the allentown fair and it's a big thing for pa. lots of people come for the fair and then there is concerts. however because the fair is in center city allentown it isn't really in a safe place. I have been going for awhile. I take my vacation every year for the fair. I think it's nice that you help raise money for good causes.
demona I live in allentown pa. they have good parts of allentown then there is the bad part of allentown. I am not in the bad parts like center city allentown. in center city there is a lot of shootings. sorry to hear the weather is making you sick. I hate the cold when it's down in it's 30's. when fall starts my allergies act up and I sneeze like crazy. it wasn't bad this year due to the warm weather. but I am not looking forward to the snow storms and the ice.
and phil yeah this weather is nuts. I wasn't liking the 90's especially when I had to work and there was little air in the building. I am glad it's cooler now. from your youtube videos it looked like you had more snow then allentown. I can't wait for spring already.
jersey I hated the heat so much. this weather has been pretty crazy so I wonder what winter will be like. I am glad for the cool weather but I hate when it's freezing.

Allentown, do the Iron Pigs need a 3rdbaseman? I'd come out of retirement just to play for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs because that's very cool. They're in the International League that's a level higher than I played at. IL IS a triple A league double A is the highest I've ever played.

I live in Ohio, and the weather here is just unpredictable. One minute it can be sunny and warm, then the next minute it can be cloudy and cold. There is a joke that everybody from Ohio knows too well because it is true. "Welcome to Ohio. If you don't like the weather, wait 30 minutes."

I just posted in another thread. It was 116F last Monday and today it has rained all day and is cold. Los Angeles had no summer weather at all.

classicblast I herd of the lehigh valley ironpigs but have never been to a game. hopefully I get to see a game of theirs one day. but that would be cool if you could play for them.
fartinggirl the weather has been crazy here to. sometimes I don't know how to dress. the change in weather really throws me off. I hate the cold because it makes me sick.
beangirl los angeles is a beautiful place I herd. that stinks it had to rain so much. we were in a drought warning here in pa but then we had really heavy rain.

54 and rain in Bradford.
IronPigs that's cool. There's something badass about pigs. Like the ToughPork products. Their symbol was a pig in a leather jacket. In the commercial he would say 'who are you looking at how would you like a bust in the chops?'

We have had about 4 days in the 70s and I got a lot done toward fall and winter. Good thing too because today its on the 50s rainy and windy as heck. Not hurricane velocity like some people are exaggerating to but bad enough.
I am not looking forward to overnight work because when this happens our shift usually works on outdoor stuff. Not my favorite in the cold but that comes with the territory so we will all just have to suck it up.

Wind was bad enough around here to cause power to go out in some areas of the state. It was crazy, but we still had ours, the next town over didn't.

Yeah, we had wind also and a small brush fire in the foothills. It is hot and dry now but will rain by Saturday.
