I wouldnt mind the double posts but for the fact that every topic he posts in he double posts Yeesh, kid, I thought you'd appreciate the affirmation. I try to avoid double-posts, but it's not a big deal, considering the size of some of the photos in some of the signatures in here. That's WAY more annoying than a double-post. Big deal. Get a life. Add block ftw!

You can block signatures if need be. I had them blocked for a while but I don't right now.

So that can be why I'm a little bit over-reactive sometimes.) Now then, why do you hate me so much and why do you think I'm a "little kid?" Dannyboy is certainly 25! I'm quite sure of it. If you're making posts, why can't you just please use the edit button? Also, yes adblock ftw.

I do believe that he is 25 as well. Why don't you look at his profile? I'm fairly certain that Brick is one of the youngest members here. Don't discredit the kid 'cos of his age, either... he's one heck of a programmer. Just because we're young doesn't mean that what we have to say doesn't matter. _glitch_

Werwoof, if you don't have Firefox, there is another way of blocking signatures. Click the "Profile" icon, then "Modify Profile", then scroll down to the listbox labeled "Show Signatures?" and change it from "Yes" to "No". This will block all signatures, not just the big ones. It can hide a lot of interesting sigs, but it's much simpler than switching browsers. Also, I agree that you shouldn't judge people by their age. When I was 12 my ACT score was in the 94th percentile for high-school seniors. I'm not saying that wisdom isn't also important, just that most adolescents aren't whiny brats.

I'm 36 and I'm as silly in my humor as I was at 14 I guess it depends. Sizzlepop was 14 and he was the primary admin in this forum.
There are some things I tell my son though. That would be that at 36 I've been around and have seen some things therefore I know more about the world than you do that does not mean I'm smarter.
But as far as posts for respect I say again its the content of the post more than the amount of the posts.

Yeesh, who cares about post count? Why don't you little boys try to put a little content in your posts? Man, that's pathetic! Do I not? I am a good contributer to this website. BTW, thanks guys for the response, it's nice to have a topic with replies from such prominent members

I am 25 7/15/82 for those who are wondering. Nobody fails it doesn't matter any more than post count does.
Thanks for saying that I have good posts I appreciate that. And I agree with what most members are saying in this poll that how many posts don't necessarily beget more respect as much as the content does.
I could see that if you have 300 posts and you have been on a while and not caused any hostility and someone wanted to make a point if a post or 2 not being useful then you could say that you have over 300 posts and those few happen to be 1 liners leave me alone.
I could see it that way if that's how it came up but I really tend to think the amount of posts is not really a big point.
I don't know how many I have but of course I'll have to notice after I post this reply. I guess its 378 I really had no idea.

Are you sure?
dannyboy: Sorry, I thought you were Phil's son, for some reason. And I knew that Phil is only 36, so... Got yez confused with someone else, maybe.

Are you still clinging to the old "you don't have any credibility till your 25" cliche? It seems you're a baby-boomer so I wouldn't be saying "Just because we're young doesn't mean that what we have to say doesn't matter.
Are you sure?"
So take a walk down memory lane and remember how it felt to be a rebellious teen, protesting Nam and all that jazz your generation is known for.
