_glitch_ is too nice to come across as mean. Plus, he's my Michigan buddy. *holds _glitch_ down for a noogie hold* *** Brick, I hadn't noticed, before. That's awesome. I also almost fell out of my chair as you did the sequential close-ups from laughing so hard. I could hear the "bom bom bom bom" in my head as I scrolled down. *** spank me pirate.....(seriously, I'd like your oppinion) aido, I've liked you since you got here. You're polite but you have heavy feet when defending what you believe in. I like that. And you've never come across as a typical flamer. It's like you take a step back and look at posts from an unbiased perspective. If I didn't know better, I'd say you were related to Blastgirl - which, I guess I don't really 'know better', because I can't say that you AREN'T related to Blastgirl. For all I know, you're her cousin or something. Glitch is from MI too? What? Lol.

Yeah. But I don't remember exactly where he said it. In 'Progams in Progress', maybe? I'm too lazy to look.

Some inane Michigan trivia.
A drive from Holland, Mi to the Mackinac Bridge takes the same amount of time it takes to drive from Holland, Mi. to Des Moines, Iowa. I've done both.
Michigan is huge, for some reason. Plus, all the 35-45mph zones near Gaylord take up quite a bit of time.
*
Contrary to popular belief, there are NO dead bodies inside the Mackinac Bridge. All fatalities were of workers falling into the water. Atleast that's what the bridge curators will have you believe.
*
And, there really are not cars allowed on Mackinac Island - except three. A firetruck, an ambulance and a police transport car.
They are all hidden from public view unless they're needed.
*
You really can't see across to Wisconsin from any point on Michigan's beaches, except where Michigan and Wisconsin meet in the U.P. (Demona can back me up, here.)
*
No matter where you stand in Michigan, you are no further than 6 miles from any large body of water (lake or river).
*
Michigan is the birthplace of three of the worlds best hollywood socialites: Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi and Ted Raimi. Also birthplace to Jack and Meg White, of White Stripes fame.

I'm going on a roll, here. But, I'll stop now.
....Dick York is buried within a half-hour from my house.

I've been to that island on vacation before and it's so much fun, it'd be cool to live in a place like that, it's modern, but just doesn't feel like it, ya know?

I've been to 'The Isle' alot, myself. but, I keep forgetting to bring my bike with me. It has some awesome nature trails and what-not. And not hearing or smelling cars for a whole day? Great! The fudge is overpriced, though. *** Oh, man, Phil. There are tons. I forgot about Seger, though.....SHAME ON ME!!!! Harry Morgan (Sherman Potter from M*A*S*H) was born in Detriot, lives in Muskegon (20 minutes away from me.) Jeff Daniels (Dumb and Dumber, Speed, Terms of Endurement, etc..) born in GA, but raised in Chelsea, Mi. and now owns/operates 'The Purple Rose' theatre in Chelsea where I'll be attending his Director's Studio and Actor's Studio next spring. 2 hours, but still nearby. I used to see Ron Essink (Seattle Seahawks) every day at the bakery before I quit the garage and flip-flopped my schedule. He's now working for the city of Zeeland (where he grew up) and is willing to do a cameo in one of my Indie flicks if I can fit him in a good spot. Jay Riemersma (former Buffalo Bills/Pittsburgh Steelers) is the football coach for Zeeland East......hangs at "China Town Buffet". Boy loves his egg rolls. Former President Gerald R. Ford is buried within 25 minutes of me. In fact, I missed seeing Air Force One at GRR Intl, by 20 minutes the day his body was brought in. (as a TSA Certified trucker who had a set run to GRR I had 'ramp priveledges'....I don't do that run anymore though, since I started driving semi.)

Ah, yes, Kid, and don't forget Eminem.
What's so bad about horse plop? I smell it right now. Actually, I guess I'm smelling cow plop, since the farmer behind me churned up his field behind my house about a month ago.
