LAWL Don't even talk about ignorance being bliss... you must be pretty blissful right now. "Wii" isn't named so because we all know how to say it... how stupid is that? So what if two year old say "wee?" What if I said "We went to my girlfriend's house last night?" OMFG I must be a two year old now. *tear* Wii is named so to show how it promotes togetherness in gaming, obviously using the same pronunciation at the word "we" as in "we played a game on the "Wii." The two i's are also supposed to represent two people playing a game. So before you decide to be condescending, please make sure the BS you spew is actually right... thanks for trying to act like your better than everyone because they hate the Wii's name.

"It is nicely symbolic." Of two people playing. I've read that, thank you for bringing it to light. I'm aware that it's pronounced as "we". But there are some people who like to think it's pronounced "wee".
You've given me irrelevant information.
"So what if two year old say "wee?""
Exactly. I'm saying that older people bringing the pronunciation "dilemma" of Wii up are acting like two year olds.
"What if I said "We went to my girlfriend's house last night?""
That's completely misguided. I'd have no opinion whatsoever.
It isn't BS, and I don't think an insult was necessary.
"Thanks for trying to act like you're better than everyone because they hate the Wii's name."
I'm not. There doesn't need to be reasoning behind that.

lolo... It's not Sony's fault that people like to acronym-ize the Playstation Portable.

...Sony "acronym-ized" it themselves...

You've given me irrelevant information. Your ability to self-evaluate is incredible. And, as already stated several times, We and Wee sound exactly the same. Please. I have a friend who plans on buying one, but just so he can play older Nintendo games on it. He thinks the name is absolutely terrible. Can anyone see what's wrong with this? You say the name is good, because it's symbolic, and thus imply you value the name for having a kind of deeper meaning, then proceed to trash whatever else indiscriminately for being "deep." Super NES. N64. GameCube. Yeah, and Gamecube definitely isn't a name that's trying to sound cool. If nintendo didn't care about sounding cool, why didn't they just call it "Generic Purple Block to Compete with Sony"? In summary: You like Nintendo. That's great. Now, try thinking for yourself.

I was simply anticipating the trend of thought. If my original post annoyed you, then apologies. Ignore it. dictionary.reference.com/search?q=symbolicSymbolic does not mean deep. "Why didn't they just call it "Generic Purple Block to Compete with Sony"? Why didn't Sony call the PSP "Black Rectangular prism to compete with DS"? Thank you, Bro_C. Spore looks more interesting now. I'd only ever seen the first footage clip.

How can you argue with this? Maybe you guys need new and more shiny games to keep your attention, but this is the true god of games. If you've never beat all four levels on Super Mario Bros. worlds 1-8, straight, then you shouldn't even be in here. Either that or have beaten a DDR song on the hardest setting with a bpm of over 140 while totally smashed.

Why didn't Sony call the PSP "Black Rectangular prism to compete with DS"? Because Sony doesn't use ghey names to deperately attract attention and hopefully sales.

Because Nintendo doesn't use gay names to desperately attract attention and hopefully sales.
Ps. Slayer has one of them, TMTD. They're pretty good, I agree. Don't think he has the gun though.. pity..

Heh, maybe you'll de-evolve and sychronise your evolution with it's evolution.. freaky. A little round cell tapping away at a keyboard. Um. I need sleep.
