Popping in once again to say hello. Crazy it's already November. Me too Silver Fox I still lurk and comment periodically. November and that means Lewasite was started 16 years ago. I suppose after 16 years of forum discussion old habits are hard to break.

May 5. I remember a member called Cubed05. On may 5 2005 he changed the forum banner to Cubedsite05 in honor of 05/05/05. I can’t believe that was 15 years ago

I usually check on things ever few days and I realize lewasite forums as we know it has been largely inactive with an occasional exception for about 5 years now. The forum was great for a good 10 years and still kept partial activity for a good 2 years or so but has been largely inactive since. I won't necessarily want to mention a member's business but some things probably should be kept mention. Jersey, a long term lewasite member sadly lost his wife to cancer just the day before Christmas. We should be thinking about Jersey at the age of 33 it will fall to him to raise a 6 year old son on his own. He will have the unthinkable task of having to try to explain to his young son why his mother was taken so early and in a very sad way. Not that there is a good way for anyone to deal with these tragic things.
I hope everyone has a nice Christmas.
In Northern Pennsylvania, my son Jason, now 23 seems to have his ways on track after about 5 years of driving his father crazy. He has full time work, not in what he got his education in but that's fine he's doing something useful. He has a nice girlfriend I hope he marries her but that's not something we can force them to do. My son Eric, currently 17 will be graduating high school in June I can hardly believe that but time flies. He was a newborn when I joined lewasite.
My daughter is in 8th grade and loving being a social butterfly. My wife and I are doing great. Married now 24 years I will turn 50 in June.
I have been with the job since 1990 I could technically retire this spring because if your time on the job and age add up to 80 you can get a partial pension. And, in a month or so the time of 30.5 and 49.5 come to together maybe they already have because I calculated to happen just after Christmas on 2020
I do not plan to retire unless it became physically too hard to do the job. I tentatively plan on sticking around about 5 more years. That's my update for now. Have a safe and happy new year

Hello! It's been a long time since I used this site, had to re-register!
Phil, my man! What ever happened to your YouTube. I was showing someone the map on the door video you did for me all those years ago, and noticed you up and quit about 7 years ago? Miss the videos, what ever happened?
Anyway, glad to see you doing well!

I was showing someone the map on the door video you did for me all those years ago, and noticed you up and quit about 7 years ago? Miss the videos, what ever happened? Anyway, glad to see you doing well! Its been a while I didn't realize it had been that long The account is still active I could resume anytime perhaps I will. Life gets busy. I will be 50 Monday June 14. My son Jason and his girlfriend are going to have my first grandchild. I wish they'd get married but you cant force that on them My son Eric will graduate high school in a few weeks my daughter Emily will finish middle school and will begin high school in the fall Otherwise we're all plugging away I have enough time on the job to retire because my age and time on the job adds up to 80 I'm 49 with 31 years on the job. But I will probably stick around until 55 at least for the optimum pension. I would not just sit home I'd probably get a 3 or 4 day a week job close to my home. We'll see My wife and I will celebrate our 25th anniversary in July Maybe sometime soon I'll do more youtubes

It’s been a while since I’ve logged onto this site. Things have been busy on my end. Just mostly working, but I do get out and have fun once in a while. My grandma died suddenly last month of an aneurysm. My family and I are currently going through stuff at her house getting ready to sell within the next couple months. My birthday is also coming up soon. I remember joining the farts.com board when I was 15, and I’ll be 35 this year. It’s amazing how time flies.
Jersey: I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your wife. Phil: I mentioned this on Facebook, but congratulations on soon becoming a grandpa. Jason: I know you haven’t been on here for several years, but congratulations to you and your girlfriend on your first child. Everyone else: I hope you’re all doing all right.

Thanks for the update and the kind wishes I will pass them on to Jason. I haven't heard from too many of our community . A few of us such as you and I, Demona, Beangirl, Mahnarch, Jersey, and Photo420 particilate on facebook The Blasts occasionally text me. Only blastgirl and Kim;s dad are still on facebook. Kims dad said that Kim had to delete her facebook and was criticized for some discussion on fb by her job so she deleted it so as to not have further discussion with the school that employs her. I guess discussion about flatulence offended the school. Some jobs give you less freedom. But overall they're doing well Kim now has 2 children and Blastgirl and Classic unexpectedly had a 3rd son a year ago. They already had the 2 boys they;re teenagers, Thunderbird classics brother got married at the age of 47 hes 51 or 52 currently. I dont have other updates

Hello again. It's been a while since I've posted here the last time. It's nice to see activity happening. It's a bit of a shame to hear about having to get off social media due to a job. It's definitely something I had a fear of for a while before. Currently I'm still at where I've been since the earlier part of the year. Transition has been steady though. I might be able to get a name change soon too, so that's nice. Only bigger thing is how I've been able to make some money through drawing, turns out there are people who like my work in that area. I was able to update my PC with the funds. I don't know if I still talk to anyone from here outside but I've been rather active on twitter and facebook mostly. Though it's more in the areas outside of what sodaplay was. Speaking of, I should try to finish that little constructor project I'd been trying to get out, or well at least improve on what I have so far. Other than all that, I've been alright. The vaccination campaign here is more or less working enough and it's almost my turn to get it. I'll probably be skating more often again as I used to. I don't if I mentioned that before, but I got into inline skating and it was something I really got into before the pandemic.

Looks like things are going well for you Inline skating is a great thing. All of my kids participated at that currently my 14 year old daughter goes to skating nearly every Friday and most Saturdays with her frineds. My sons were also avid skaters when they were just a little younger.

Hello! I don't know who's still around here. Though I can mention here I am poking around again. Things seem to be lighting up a bit again now that things about the pandemic have been getting better. Been able to go out again, though still taking my precautions even though I got my 3rd shot already. Dunno. I started to try out a Penny board, it's like a small skateboard with soft wheels. It's very convenient to move around quickly on sidewalks, though I still haven't gotten the hang of rolling over cracks yet. Already fell hard once. For now things have been going ok. Been having fun drawing and things mostly. Also did some updates to my computer. Don't know what else there is to say other than I guess I'm getting more social on other places. I've been on Telegram and Twitter mostly, just for the art stuff. I'm trying to figure out how to learn a couple new programming languages too. I've been seeing that Typescript and Rust are promising. I do like how Rust works, though I still don't see much of the point in Typescript. I guess I'll be seeing it later on eventually.
Anyway, just wanted to stop by and catch up. Saw the last messages here were from last year so I thought I'd drop a recent one haha. Hope everyone's been alright.

Hello grape. You're right I haven't made youtube in been a while. A couple of things happened. A few guys were beginning to annoy me which didn't bother me that much I'm not really that scared but it made my wife a bit uneasy and the kids were still growing at that time. If they're mostly grown now with the exception of my daughter who's 14. I probably could resume this anytime I just haven't. It's good to see you post again and maybe I'll do another YouTube sometime soon.

Well gently caress me this board is still around.. Was laying in bed last night and lewasite popped into my head for some reason. It’s like looking into a time capsule.
Couldn’t guess my password if I tried but my name on here back in the day was Jesusaurus/ possum jenkins, which is par for the course for my cringy/ angsty teenage years. I came over from the ol’ farts.com (which even more shocking— you can use the waybackmachine and get a glimpse at the old forum.. 17+ years ago at this point..yikes)
Phil, definitely remember you from back in the day— good to see you and your family are doing well! Crazy that you still keep in touch outside of lewasite with the original crew, all the best to them as well especially jersey. I can’t even imagine.
A bit of an update on my end, graduated college a few years ago, moved to New York City, and working in tech. Can’t really complain!
I’ll try to remember to check back in a few weeks to see if anyone has responded lol, but if folks want to reconnect Facebook or something send me a dm!
Cheers, Kevin
Edit: forgot there was a profanity filter here hahaha fair play I guess

I'm glad you checked it out yes that sure has been a long time.
I am no a grandfather. I wish I could say Jason's wife but right now I'll still have to say Jason's girlfriend I wish they would get married but that's on them.
Anyway they had a son They named Joshua.
I recently turned 51 I have decided I am going to retire from the Penn New York irk community of CSX railroad. It's a little bit of a political process. I submitted my resignation for retirement which I have been eligible to do for a while as long as your Years old and Time on the job add up to 80. I have 32 years on the job currently. And I am 51. So it did so I was eligible actually at 49. I've been full pension eligibility since 2020,But I wasn't quite ready 2 years ago but with all the mumbo jumbo that's gone on I think now I am. I'll be finished in October. I've decided I'll work part time with a local business.

Just checking in not much is going on. Covering a lot of overtime as there are a lot of vacations in the summer. We haven't had a huge disaster in quite a while so we have pretty much just worked on the things that 3rd shift usually does.
This will be my last summer with the penn York division of CSX railroad. I gave them 32 years And October 15th will be my final.
Maybe sooner because I have some vacation time saved
