I wish you knew better about my CYEMOA, because I update it 2 times daily. considering that's a lot of days, I could say that...yeah, I put a lot of work and DEDICATION into it. Twice a day? Hah! I breathe over 86,000 times a day! Don't even talk to me about dedication.

Well, mister_nothing, if you seriously think that you're the only one who lost a lot here, think again. Yet I see no one else exploding like that. You know why? Because this is a good forum, and replies are usually thought out, since you do after all have to write them... posts should be for content, even in a time as bad as this.

...Which has absolutely nothing to do with what Skier said.
Anyways, TMTD seems to have not been around since the... incident. Coward.
EDIT: ...And you deleted your original message.

Then he should stop being an invisible DICKHOLE and take some credit for his actions.

Everyone excluding sizzle and lewa have lost all mod priveleges, and for a good reason. Plus, what could you possibly do with it now, anyway?

I find it somewhat disturbing that some members are focusing on what powers they have at this time. This comment isn't mainly directed at Stunts, by the way.
I took power away from everyone I could (except myself, obviously) because it's the safest thing to do. Power is often misused in times of desperation. Eventually things might turn back to normal.

Great, now can you do anything to help fix the boards?
Anyways, in English class, we have to write a paper in which we select and archetype and explain how it is shown in Greek mythology and modern-day life. Here's my take:
Zeus is like batman. He throws lightning bolts at people he doesn't like. Batman throws batarangs at criminals. People also throw grenades at people who don't believe the same things that they do and occasionally don't throw the grenades at all; instead they strap them to themselves and blow themselves up in the middle of a crowded religious gathering or a packed subway with women and children present. This is called suicide bombing.
Zeus also lives in a really cool mansion thing on Mount Olympus. Batman lives in the Batcave, and also has a mansion. They both are well-off and can pretty much do anything. This is similar to mafia leaders, who can sometimes have many millions of dollars in extravagant houses and casinos and stocks and industry, and have a great degree of autonomy due to their wealth and power. This power is cemented by fear. Fear of the criminal acts that got the mafia leader his power, such as the assassination of a top city official, or the abduction and murder of children and their use as a very powerful bargaining tool.
These things are archetypes because all people, deep down inside, want to throw things at people and be the feared leader and trendsetter of society and have everyone regard them as the ultimate authority (which can't happen if there are other people who disagree with your ideals). Humans are violent like that. Everyone also wants to have lots of money and ultimate power, and some will go to extreme lengths to attain it. This taken together with our penchant for violence makes the human species cumulatively pretty much a total dickhole.
The End.

I'm considering quitting my job. I will have to anyway if we have to move. I assume everyone has read that Classic's ten year relationship with the team he had played for has ended. The youth movement arrived. But they did the best thing for him too. If they were going to release him it was better for him to find a different team that they did so early in camp. If it gets toward the end of camp openings in other teams could be filled. He has received a fair amount of interest and it looks as if he's almost definate to have a position somewhere this season. There's even a chance he can land a position with a team based just over an hour away and if that happens we might not move. There is this other thing, though. I work for the team that had employed him. This is our team and has been longer than my lifetime. My Dad has had Season tickets for the games for as long as I can remember. I met Classic in a pizza restaurant shortly after he came to play for our team. He transfered in from a Rookie League and I recognized him as one of our new players and the rest is history. He has been here ever since even though there were moments of uncertanity. That's term is a long time bu sports standards especially Minor League. But now he moves on as far as playing is concerned. If I we have to move it's obvious I have to quit. They're likely to let me go anyway because of the situation. If we dont move do I stay because I like the job and it's not real hard, or do I leave because my Husband now plays for a different team and I should not work in the offices of a team that plays against him? My Dad said he is not dropping his season tickets over this but he is very sad about the team's decision not to keep Classic. I have lived here my whole life and would hate to move. Classic isn't quite as entrenched here as he is from another State originally. So he is not a lifer. Although as long as we have been Married we have stayed here year around. Before that he would go home for the Winter. I just don't know what to do. Although I realize I might be let go anyway because of the conflict of interest.

I understand how your father feels too. It's his team and he still plans to support it.
I know how you feel if you care to stay employed by a team that let your husband go.
I think this. If you don't have to move you might as well keep that job as long as you can. You have said yourself it's not a real demanding job and you do enjoy it.
Fences tend to mend so I'm sure over time you can find a way to stand the people that decided not to keep Classic. And he will find a team.
There's always the possibility of him someday returning to that team. There's lots of examples of that. Today is the hockey trading deadline and a few guys have returned to teams that they had played for before. So like I said there is a chance of that. I wouldn't burn any bridges. And if you do have to move you can bow out of it that way.
