Been a while since I logged in. Quite a bit has happened since I last logged on. Last November I got my first tattoo, which was a set of paw prints, and it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. Then in March my grandpa died of Alzheimer's, and my one cat died of old age in April. Other than that I've mostly been busy with work. It's sad that there is not much activity on the boards like there used to be. I'm sorry about the deaths that's never easy. It has now been 7 and a half years without my dad and it hasn't gotten any easier. I've gottne used to not seening him but its no easier than it was 7 years ago I have never gotten a tattoo but they don't offend me my son has 2 or 3 of them now I just said to him 'I hope you got something you like' and that's all I can say he's 21 now. Damn tine goes fast

My parents said the same thing to me when I expressed interest in getting a tattoo. It took me a while to decide on what to get because tattoos are forever. I also got a second tattoo in June of a forget-me-not flower in my grandpa's memory, as he died from Alzheimer's. While my mother did not like the paw prints tattoo at first, she did like the forget-me-not tattoo. Hard to believe Jason is 21 now.

As long as you like what you have. I can hardly believe Labor Day is just 3 weeks out. Kids are counting down the days before school resumes. *I think its 23 days as of now.

As of the 16th of January we are now 8 years without dad. I can't believe its been this long. I have gotten used to not seeing him but it hasn't gotten any easier. I know he would be very proud of his grandchildren.

I came out as trans. So, things are looking better now. I'm due for appointments to see how I'll go for HRT. In a way, I feel like I'm going to be a lot happier soon.

Currently, it seems that it is. I've now begun HRT and I'm on my way to being me now. I'm very excited, and hopeful.

Hello there! I pop in occasionally to see what's up. I've been doing well lately just been getting adjusted to things going on in life and all. Activity is very low but we're still around. Forums sure were fun back then until social media took over. There's just a little charm that forums have, perhaps nostalgic mostly. Happy to see anyone pop in.

Hello Vix and Mist. Good to see you both again. I remember on this date in 2005 a member called Cubed05 changed the heading to Cubed site in notice of his title Cubed05 and the date being 05/05/05 He changed it back right after but I can't believe that was 14 years ago now. On a personal note we had 2 birthdays this month. My son Jason turned 22 on April 10 and on the 30th my daughter Emily turned 12.

That's a good point facebook, Twitter and Snapchat seem to have replaced forums becaue they're more direct. That can also be a disadvantage because they're less anonymous but that's the way of today. These forums that are in this case over 15 years old are pretty much outdated as you said but I agree I like the nostalgia of them.
