well, ive watched 285 movies since March 10th of last year, and it doesnt look like im going to make my goal of 365
Anyway, some gems ive watched this weekend:
Psycho 2, easily the best sequel ever made(besides Halloween 2, but I consider Halloween 1 and 2 to be one long movie). Of Course it stars Norman Bates, just released against Lila Loomis' wishes. at first everything is going fine, but then he starts getting notes from his mother, and what do you know the old habits start up again.
Now unlike the first one, which basically had 2 moments of awsomeness(the brilliantly shot shower scene, and the conclusion), the sequel is filled with suspense and plot turns.
Another awsome movie, Deathtrap. Starring Micheal Caine(Austin Powers' Faja) and Chris Reeve(Superman). A deliciously shot thriller based off a play. so many plot turns and dry quips, it was amazing.

I finally found a movie called Death Ship. George Kennedy was in it. Well it was at the box offices when my brothers and I were between five and ten. I being the youngest.
Well my mother wouldn't let me see it.
I finally saw it this year when I bought it.

My girlfriend had never seen Wedding Crashers (one of my favorites), so we watched that last night.

Howl's Moving Castle -Awesome anime The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra -Awesome parody of 50's sci-fi flicks
MC, I liked Psycho 1, and I felt that it had a lot of suspense, but what ever
I'd heard Psycho 2 was horrible though...
EDIT: Was thinking of the remake, which was pretty bad in comparison.

The remake of psycho was pretty terrible. I mean Vince Vaughn as Norman Bates? give me a break. He tried hard, i'll give him that, but he was funny with a slight edge of creepyness, we needed downright disturbed for this movie.
If you've heard my rants of film remakes, this definately ranks top 5 for worst. It was a Carbon Copy to a T, the only difference being worse acting and it was in colour.
The Sequel Psycho 2 was great, and still had the original Norman Bates in it.
the new Bad News Bears was pretty good, but it only further typecasted Billy-Bob Thorton as an old Drunk, when as an actor he can do so much more.
I also love anything with Jamie Lee Curtis in it(yes, I even kept myself up watching Christmas with the Kranks.)

How was 300? Anyone know? I've heard mixed reviews, but they included
-We understand now how Spartan has come to mean sparse and warlike. Come to mean? Riight -The film had a lot of violence in it and may not be appropriate. ROFL It's about spartans...and a war... what do you expect? "Of course he has a knife, he always has a knife, we all have knives! It's 1183 and we're all barbarians!"

You mean in the US they mean it??? Hmm? Yeah, you're not allowed to see R-rated movies if you're under 17 in the US, if that's what you're talking about.
