Tonight will be movie night for me, since it's snowing, and I really don't want to be out in the snow. The hard part will be deciding what movie I want to watch, since I have so many to choose from in my collection.

I love having movie nights. I can watch just about any movie I'm flexible. A good old western might be my favorite.

There's so many I like. The old Bonanza series is great. I also like nearly all John Wayne movies. But my all time favorite is probably the Good, The Bad and the Ugly.

I recently saw 'Paul Blart: Mall Cop' in theaters. I have to say that I didn't really like it. They basically showed all the funny parts in the previews.

I recently watched 'The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian.' While I did like this movie, along with 'The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe,' I like the book series better, in which there are seven books total. In the movies, they skipped the first book and went right to the second book, then they skipped the third book and went right to the fourth.

I did not know there was a seven book series in the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
I can understand how a movie would have to condense it down if the original story took seven books.
Movies usually are edited down unless the book is fairly short. I remember the Outsiders being almost true to the book but I think the book was only about 250 pages and you can probably do that in 2 hours.

There was a lot cut out of The Lord Of The Rings movies that was in the book. However the parts they cut out of the movies that were in the book, were not really important key points to the whole story.

How about 'A Clockwork Orange.' That's a pretty obscure movie. I've only seen parts of the movie, but I thought the book was kind of weird.
