My 95 GMC is stock, but has the Cherry Bomb Vortex cat-back dual exhaust.
It sounds-a pretty-a nice-a. (That's my attempt at a Borat impression. lol)
My Torino, however, is bored out from 302 to about 304ish with Edelbrock everything. Cam, intake, lifters, valve springs, 600cfm carb, chrome dress up kit. The exhaust is manifold back, custom bent by a friend of mine at Express Muffler (we didn't do custom exhaust at my shop). I've got Monroe gas shocks up front and Monroe Air shocks in the rear, I got Lucas tranny additive and Carquest U-joints, front and rear!
How's them apples? lol.
Get this: It was cheaper for me to buy an Edelbrock chrome oil pan to replace my rusted out, leaking one than it was to buy a Motorcraft OE one - even aftermarket.

A chrome pan is cheaper than an OEM one?

Yeah! By $20!
And my local Carquest dealer had one ON HAND!!
I was like, "WT.....F?!!"
Of course, 5.0L/302c.i. aren't that uncommon around here (we have a surprisingly large amount of 60's Mustang Ponys and Mach 1s here). But, you still have the option of single or dual sump set ups.
And, you get some guys who go with the 'dry sump' set up. Pfffttt!!!
[Have I confused you, yet? lol]

OH, man! A 4.6L V8. That's the same motor they use in the Crown Vic Police Cruisers. Fast as all heck. The SOHC modular 4.6? Are you serious? Stangs got it handed to them by their GM F-body counterparts. Fourth gen Mustangs were way underpowered and they lacked the modability of the 5.0s. The ONLY 4.6 that I would want to drive would be the DOHC version in the 95-98 Cobra (alright) and the 03-04 Mach 1 (better), or the blown DOHC in the 03-04 "Terminator" Cobra (WIN). And Crown Vic Cruiser... fast? Must not be thinking about the same slow boats I am. Sure, they're better than a FWD Impala or Intrepid like what are running around a lot now, but I'd rather drive a Hemi Charger... better than the Vic in almost every category.

I just....asploded.
Hands down the best as far as I'm concerned.
The cruisers in my area are DOHC 4.6, but asperated. We're not in the high altitude region, though. 700-800 MSL on average.

I'm not too big of a fan of Mustangs anymore... they're all just pigs now. Sure, the new ones have 300 hp, but they also weight 3500 pounds dry; close to 4000 with gas an passengers.
I have an idea: Lose some weight on those hogs instead of just upping the horsepower. Case in point: the new GT500. It has 500 hp but it weights 4000 pounds dry. It get spanked by a C6 Vette with 100 less horsepower.

But the Vette weighs so little that it loses HP to the ground.
Traction Contol takes a lot of that away, too.
