What I logged on and saw that farts.com was up for sale. I just hope whoever buys the domain doesn't destroy that UBB. Hopefully, the new owner will leave things as they are. It should be on eBay in the near future up for auction.

I would hate to see a loss of contact of all the people we have known for the past five years of the net.

How does the forum end up for sale in the 1st place?
Is it that Dr.Rex doesn't want to maintain it anymore so it goes to the highest bidder? I really don't know how that works? How much is a discussion forum worth on the open market?

I was surprised too. It sucks but thats the way it is.
I guess I took for granted that nothing like that would actually happen.
That probably means all posts and discussion will be gone.

No offense but I like lewasite how it is and I don't want it to turn into farts.com2.0 Lewasite won't be changing at all. The members from over there will just be hanging out here until everything gets sorted out over there. I should add that I think this might actually be a great thing for Lewasite. The new membership will certainly help this place grow. We could always use some new blood around. |

Maybe if someone can contact the admin there we can obtain the IP address, and even attach a temporary domain. It's only the domain being sold, not the site.

Who would've known that a fetish website would bring so many people together? It actually is the only site about that subject that *gasp* isn't a fetish site at all!  The place is actually very anti-fetish and people who came in and tried to force that idea were thrown out quite nicely.  It's all about funny stuff, not gross crap. |
