If you want a Sinatra name, and since you're making decisions about the boat... you could name it My Way.

thanks all. we've been struggling to push it by hand around to the back of the house for a while. the weather isn't helping either. unfortunately, it may be a while until we can test drive it, with the weather. thanks for reading

So what's the good word on the new boat? That is such an exciting thing.

its a real speed machine! havn't had a chance to sail it yet but ive been looking through every inch of it. Harken(tm) blocks (pulleys, clam cleats etc.), dynema sheets, aluminium spars (mast, boom) and race ready sails.
in other news, I got a new mobile phone, with a 2.0 megapixel camera, so I will be able to take pictures.

ok! well, I know its been forever since I have been posting, but i'm lurking. I finally have the pictures ready. but you will be disappointed to hear that the weather just hasn't picked up. itsbeen the worst january in years. we havn't had one day where we could have sailed it. oh well. on with the pics! this is the logo of the boat, near the back. have a look at that cockpit! a view from the front! I hope to get it on the water this w/e. fingers crossed. thanks! EDIT!! i decided it would be nice if you knew how tranquil the bay where we sail it can be...after all this bad weather. so here!

That boat looks awesome. Let us know how it works out when you finally do get to set sail.

sure will kimm. today was a success, even though we didn't get it on the water. we achieved getting the mast up. without much damage (a little bit, nothing noticeable thank god). we were working on it from about 13:00 until 16:30 so i'm just in. weather was really cold (below 10c) but workable, until just a few minutes before we finished when it started raining. it takes a lot of work to get it up, measuring shrouds and putting bits and pieces together. great fun! lol. took pictures too. I have to upload them from my phone and then i'll post them.

Yeah Aido post some pictures. Boats seem to require a fair degree of maintenance above and beyond the sailing aspects of the boat.
