What made the brige collapse? Anonymous. I've heard breaking news reports that they did it for the epic lulz.

A fat kid ran on the bridge and it fell.

It would have to be a pretty fat kid. I'm sure there will be an investigation it is probably not known yet what caused it to fall.

I think the structure was probably just bad. It was mentioned on the news this afternoon, the second time I heard about it.

That's so tragic. Its a miracle more people weren't killed. I saw an article that says that some experts had doubts about the bridge as long ago as 1990 but I'm not sure how much I'd believe that because people always say things like that.

Probably because people always have doubts about poorly made archetecture.

Do they know that it was poorly made and that it wasn't damaged by an outside force? I'm very curious to see what the investigators find out about that.

It collapsed, didn't it? If it was a planned collapse it would have taken way more people. Either that or it's just lousy terrorism, like kicking a puppy in the name of Cthulu.

One thing is for sure it collapsed and that's just miraculous that more people weren't hurt or killed.

a lot were injured and killed.
They were doing some work on it I believe and they probably just messed it up. That or a fat kid.

I heard something about a jackhammer in the construction project hitting the bridge's resonance frequency... highly doubtful.
Chthulu > you.

It makes us wonder how many other bridges are in perhaps not so good condition.
