Some laws are so stupid its untrue. Check this website and you will see what I mean. I think the stupidest one is the Colarado one. A woman who is wearing a red dress is not allowed out past 7 p.m. homepages.nildram.co.uk/~jimella/laws01.htm

none of those are really enforced, because no one in their right mind would want to punish someone for them.

they exist because everyone's too lazy or too busy to change them. the law letting you drive on the wrong side of the road needs to be changed, though.

It usually turns out that those laws were put in place to arrest one person one time and just never lifted from the books.

Interesting. I heard one about having a permit to hang clothes out to dry or something.

They were all made for a reason. The reason, although it may not be known now, made perfect sense at the time. It may have been just to be able to put a certain person in jail one time, or it may have been to make the lawmakers look like they were doing their jobs and making laws. All these laws had a purpose at one point, they are just not enforced now because they are not practical, but no one has taken the time to have them revoked.

Yeah your right. They are stupid and they must have been pretty desperate to do what they wanted to do.

I'm not saying the laws are stupid. I'm saying they're pointless now.

"No running on playgrond" Is there a playground that has that as the Law? I wouldn't be surprised these days. That would be pretty stupid for a law.

Potholes can only be filled by certified pothole fillers. There should'nt be a law of drinking alchahol underage..There should just be one of being noticibly under influence. Wine is actually great for yuor heart and good for health overall. In other countries, e.g Italy, france, germany, alchahol(?) is drunken with allmost every meal. Including children. Alchohol isnt bad for you, bit it is when used immodestly.
