Congrats on the homerun. I also remember the years I played t-ball. I played from when I was about five until I was around eight. My god was it that long ago..

I have tried batting cages with Classic. I admit that's a mismatch. He's a pro and I'm a guy who goes to baseball games.
But he will set the cages up for me to take slow pitch and him fast pitch. He gets 1 out an inning and I get 5 and he still whipps me.
One time he said "next time we could try the tball. It's harder to hit a homerun but at least you won't strike out."
Jason you must be very good to get 2 homeruns in 1 game.

Not that Classic should talk after the last three games.

did classic hit bad in 3 games? thats sorry about that. his age pitchers throw so fast I woud be afraid of it hitting me. my dad said that there so under controle that they hardly ever hit players. thats good anyway.

More than 3 games but that seems to be straightened out. A home run is a lot harder to hit of a t. Theres more momentum from a pitch to use when you bring your swing into the ball. So if you homered off a t that must have been some hit.

Maybe Classic should start hitting off a tee. Two for fourteen in last three games. YUKKKEEEE!

baseball's easy
im an umpire, so I have the best eyes in the dugout for balls and strikes. not the best hitter, no matter where the pitch im always jammed inside.
i play only for fun though

I've learned in later years not to be too tough on umpires. They're not going to take back a call and the worse your attitude is as a player the less chance you have of getting the benefit of the next call.
So I've gotten so I just take what they say whether I agree with it or not.

its true, its not like they can just say "opps, yeah, make that a ball instead"
most of the time, at least for me, they know if they screwed up
another thing they dont realize, in a 9 inning game and umpire calls 250 to 300 picthes, and the ones everyone remembers are the 3 mistakes he made. even though hes making 99% of the calls right, people still say hes blind, lol.

Exactly it is what it is and the players have to go from there.
It takes thick skin to be an ump. Some of the things guys say to them for calling what they believe to be a strike.
PS most of them know the Spanish swear words by now too. hahaha.

haha, no spanish swear words here, only french.
do you know what fastpitch is? its basicly underhand, but you make a complete rototaion. some call it windmill.
its harder because you can put any motion you want on the ball. one guy would actaully throw the ball at the ground, it would drop a few inches, then rise up a foot all with the rotation of the seams. ive seen some pretty looping curveballs, but nothing ever compares to some of the rises and changeups ive seen in fastpitch. and then tehres the knuckle ball. one pitcher always jokes and says "I stopped using it because you miss it so much", lol. im not that bad, but it is the hardest pitch to follow
thats why I would like to try to ump hardball, because basically the ball can only go down.

Actually believe it or not there's a lot of guys that have rise in their pitches. Rise and backspin.
Classic will tell you more when he's on. Do you speak French Rylan? Classic speaks a little Spanish.

well what your talking about is a 4 seam fastball. it doesnt really have a rise. unless your talking about a submarine pitcher, its nearly impossible to put rise on a hardball.

They have a kind of backspin though. When I was a kid Steve Rogers of the Expoes was great at the back spin and it was called a rise but it was really more of a backspin.

There's a pretty good World Series underway. Each team tied at one game apiece.
