hey Classic, just wondering if there's any knuckleballers in your league. the knuckle balls movement fascinates me, I love it. I just wonder, whats your approach to hitting one? for me, when im behind the plate thats the hardest picth to follow, and im sure I miss it every time, lol. sometimes it changes direction 3 times before it gets to the catchers glove, I dont know how I would hit it if I cant even see it when umping.

That's a pretty good post Rylan. There are a handfull of pitchers who have somewhat mastered a knuckleball. None are anything close to a Phil Nickro, Len Barker, or any of the famous major leaguers that mastered that pitch. But there are a few guys that are difficult to hit for that reason. That question has been asked to me before and I have to admit there is no secret success to hitting a knuckleball because they are just so unpredictable. The only thing that somewhat works is to pause for a moment as the ball approaches and determine if it's an inside or outside pitch. If it's an outside pitch I'd more than likely just take it but if it's an inside pitch I can usually pull those nomatter the height of the ball at the plate.
