I like every sport but hockey is my favorite. I play rollerhockey on Fridays because thats my only knght off really.
I'm happy about the NHL playoffs being on the way after the league took a year off last year.
I can get into everysport though.

That didn't take long. Coaches these days get hardly any leeway. It's like 'what have you done for me lately?'

how big is soccer in america?
and our football (soccer) in german is sounded fussball, while american football is sounded football. Weird, I think.

well fußball directly translates to "football", its just us silly americans who decided to make one of the sports that uses feet the least football.

To answer Guest's question, Soccer is growing. With the age groups of (currently fifteen and under) there's hardly any American Kids that haven't at least played some soccer.
I like it because it's a fast paced game and yet you can see the ball at all times because it's nice and big.

Being Married to a Baseball player I understand that game very well, but I don't know very much about Cricket. I wouldn't mind if you could tell me the differences.
Americans have softball too which is similar to baseball but the field is smaller, (Bases are closer together and therefore the pitchers mound is closer to homeplate. The ball is about twice the size, the bat is narrower and longer, and the pitching is underhand.
But the objectives and rules are almost the same except in softball four foul balls and you're out. In Baseball there is no such rule. You can hit a hundred foul balls as long as your bat touches the ball you're still at bat.

My vote would have to go to (American) football, especially college football. college games just seem to have so much more energy than pro games, and I love the atmosphere. I'm espcially excited for this fall, because I plan on going to all the home games of whatever college I go to... which is looking like Ohio State right now. w00t.
