It does seem to take a lot longer to save than it does to spend. The old saying is years to build minutes to destroy. ;D

Over the weekend they had a summerfest and it ended with fireworks. My sons got glad bags and picked up as many bottles as they could get and put them in the car.
They split the money they ended up with about 10 bucks each. They were happy.

It's just indicating that our Brother is Thrifty. And he is our dear Brother and we love him. But there are days where he doesn't let George see daylight. ;D

I've been saving money for a while now. Next weekend, I might be buying a high carbon steel two-handed sword. And a custom Stetson. Though not at the same time, or for the same reasons.

All of the money I've been making from my job has been going into a checking account, along with $1500 in scholarship money form my high school. The $1500 amd maybe a little more will be used for college, but the rest is just for when I need money for things like gas and all that.
I spent some change last weekend at Finish Line, and I'll definitely be spending some at the game on Saturday. But oh well... I've worked ahrd this summer and I deserve to treat myself. The question is though... should I get a Troy Smith jersey or a Ted Ginn Jr. jersey... decisions decisions.

It looks like you can afford both jerseys.
Get a jersey though if not both because when they see you on campus wearing it it means so much.
I hope Classic can comment on this too because trust me it warms his heart if he sees kids with his jersey on.

I could afford both, yes. But I'd rather buy one for my girlfriend and one for myself. She wants to match me but doesn't know which one she wants. Always leaving the decisions up to me... yeesh. ;D

That is a funny thing years and years to save and only one or two purchases and its all gone. Thats because you over pay for things and they're always mocking me for being cheap. Well that works for me. And when they need to borrow money I can lend it for a reasonable interest fee.
