You know Phil, you should post the phone number of the place where you work and we could all call in and harass them until they changed your shift. I'm not kidding either man. I'd do it for a friend.

That would be astoundingly funny.
We the People of Lewasite insist that you move our site member Phil to a more reasonable shift so he can spend primetime hours with us.
We demand it it's our civic right.

Yeah that would be sweet!
Problem is, would either of us make the cut?
Yeah, but Phil... we could call anyonymously and demand that you get your shift changed. Just give us a number and a name.

I was called off from going in early yesterday, so I only had 52 hours last week. Darn.

I have the 3 days off and 3 days on. The 3 on are 13 hours. A lot of times in the summer I go to a cabin for my off time.

I would love to have 3 days off in a row each week. Even if it made my days longer. About every 2 weeks I get forced to work a double anyhow. There's 'summer sickness' at my work. But since it's a rail service there can't be any less people on so if a worker calls in somebody has to stay from the previous. I should call in and make someone stay. I hate to do that though but it's everybody's turn and mine comes up next on my shift so I might miss a day of lewasite this week if I do you will know why.

You mean you don't have a say in it? They can say "You are working a Double" and that's that?

You mean you don't have a say in it? They can say "You are working a Double" and that's that? Yeah, basically it does mean that. You can't refuse, well you're not suppose to. If you have a tragic family emergency or something or other then they will tap the next person on the list but you don't move to the bottom of the list, you are still next in line to get stuck with a double. So that could come up the next day.

Someone else volenteered to double this morning or I would have gotten stuck. I'm next on the list. That's aweful.
