What kind of a job would you like Glitch?

My 1st job was when I was in highschool. I worked at a pizza Hut and that summer I had 2 jobs my 2nd job was at a car wash.

I would really like a job as a waiter. I've waited at our camp meeting at church before and I've gotten a bunch of compliments (up to and including people coming and finding my table because they liked the service and a veteran waitress telling me that I was doing a rly good job). I'll take just about anything short of servile manual labor. I'm not all about the be-a-he-man-and-work-my-butt-off-for-minimum-wage thing. I'd rather work in the computer section of like ABC Warehouse than doing something like hauling logs or working construction.

Its also 'uncool' for a Christian to own more than they need.

Are you for serious? That is not even funny.

I'm a Christian. We're not exactly rich or anything, but we have some people in our church - some of the most active members - that are quite well-off financially.

Who dictates what's cool for Christans and what's not? Just because we're Christains doesn't mean we have to live without nice stuff.

Are you sure about that? The Royal family are members of the Anglocan church and they look like they have a few spare shilings.

I didn't realize seriously that it would be considered unholy to acquire wealth.

I don't think the beggar out on the street who just got handed a wad of cash by a sympathetic Christian would agree with this. At all. In fact, it's better for a christian to have more money than a non christian, because it would probably be used more appropriately. Bold= not true in all cases, of course.

Anyway, off topic. Me? I deliver advertising brochures. Boring, slow, long, but surprisingly well paid. I make about $40, for three hours a week. (1.5 hours each on Tuesday and Thursday.)
