Witchcraft Witchcraft Witchcraft. Witchcraft Witchcraft Witchcraft Witchcraft. Beyond words good. Witchcraft recorded their album on vintage equipment in their basement. It sounds like 70's metal. Beyond words good.

Speaking of sounds like 70's metal... Wolfmother. Add in a little Zeppelin, a little Sabbath, and a little Deep Purple and you get one rockin' Aussie band. Fawk yeah.

Meh, I'm listening to some DJ Bluecore. Happy hardcore [glow=red,2,300]rules.[/glow]
I dropped by Wolfmother's website to see what they sound like. I'm not a rock fan by any means, but I like them because they're DIFFERENT. They don't sound like every other rock band on planet Earth. Now, I'm not gonna load up LimeWire and start downloading them, but they're not bad.

Yeah, Wolfmother's awesome too. The only reason I don't have any in my library at the moment is sheer laziness. I guess I should go and acquire some perfectly legally and not using a program named after a citrus fruit.

When I was in middle school and high school the popular groups were Kiss, Ozzy Ozbourne, AC/DC, The Talking Heads, Quiet Riot, My favorite, The Eagles, Rollingstones, Diar Straights
the punk bands were starting to infest the radio and videos but not too much my circle of friends.

Go listen. Now. _glitch_

I tend to like Alabama, The Oakridge Boys and the Dixie Chcks the best.

I tend to agree about 1965-76 but I might come a little later in my taste maybe to about 1990.

Right, I picked up the Wolfmother album a couple of days ago. It's a good album, but the songs are better listened to individually than as a whole.. it gets kind of repetitive after a while. But it's good. "Woman" is amazing. Let's see... I've also picked up Kill 'Em All by Metallica. It's more speed metal than their later stuff. Ride the Lightning was their best, but this isn't a bad album to rock to anytime. Oh, and Therion, too. They're a band that fuses classical music with metal, and they manage to pull it off well... it sounds great. By the way, I got both of the albums in this paragraph in China, for less than a dollar each

I'm starting to play piano again this year... I'm working on a piece called "New Orleans Nightfall" by William Gillock. It's a GREAT piece.

My favorite music is 80s rock. I have been to ZZTop concerts tons of times. And Bob Segar too.

I'm listening to way too much Therion. But it is amazing.
And lots of The Sword, too. Imagine one gigantic guitar riff, with heavy bass and underacheiving Ozzy-style lyrics. That's pretty much their entire album. It's awesome.

I enjoy Def Leppard. I was a kid when Steve Clark died. That in the news is what actually got me interested in Def Lepoard. That might seem mortit but that's true.
I like Judas Priest a lot too.
