I just would like to hear from anyone who supported Obama last time either here or on any forum. And I'll be interested in knowing if they will support him again and why or why not. I may debate if their reasons are something I can understand but I would not give the person a hard time personally for their support of him. I just want to know what has Obama done that's good for our country that he deserves to be reelected.
He had done or is doing something else that makes me mad he is attempting to take the teeth out of the Clinton Workfare program of 1996. While I was never a big supporter for Clinton I do think he did a good thing that time.

It gets worse. They're looking to impose a 3.5 % tax on all properties sold to go into the Obama Health care program
I am dead serious what is good about this guy?

I think I like this Paul Ryan as a vice Presidential candidate.

I am hoping for a change. Obama (I think its clear why I didn't vote for him) he did at least offer some optimism with some of the changes he said he would make but none of them have happened and what he has changed has not been for the better.

So far I have not heard a bad thing about Ryan. Obviously partisan things are being said but a honest criticism that any partisan member can consider legitimate criticism.
Nothing close to Joe Biden's many errors most recently Monday night saying that Romney wants to put us in shackles and chains... Republican, Democrat or whatever party you are that was a huge dumb thing to say.

The convention for the republican side is in Florida. They're concerned about the hurricane. The events are planned in advance but they know its hurricane season.
I guess you have to live your life and do your business and realize there's a chance of weather or natural disasters but booking in Florida during hurricane season would be like booking in the north east in January when you're going to have thousands of people coming from all over.
Maybe that's done since Florida is a battle ground state that's rich with electoral votes.
Florida is a state that often swings. Where California, Michigan and New York usually go Democrat, and Texas and most of the mid western states tend to go Republican.
SO probably the plan was to choose a state that has a lot of electoral votes that could go either way.

I get it though.
There's more that swings a state than just the convention being there. Its the restaurants, car rental agencies, the hotels and other local businesses that get a shot in the arm from having it there might for the monemt warm the peopel up to their party. Obviously if your mind is made up that wouldn't matter but if you are undecided they count of some of this to help their cause.

I dont like how Obamas people are still saying how bad things were when Obama started.
But what has he done to fix anything? Instead theyre saying about Ronmeys tax paying record and Ryan fibbing about running a marathon.

The best that they can do is cut down Romney and Ryan hoping the voter takes the 'better the devil you know' attitude. I think that's the only angle left for them. I guess I could see trying to sell that Romney would be a bad president, I can't see how they can say Obama has been a good 1.

I started off watching parts of the DNC because I am a believer you should follow the news whatever it might happen to be that day or few days.
I had to click away though I was getting so angry. I am sorry but I just do not like this President and I seriously hope he does not get reelected. There are some advantages for him right now the states with a lot of electoral votes are leaning in his favor. And the party who has their convention last usually has an advantage. I think its set that whoever's party is the incumbent goes second. I guess that's right up my professional ally though the home team bats last in my sport too.

But what does this guy think he can say that means we are better off than 4 years ago? I know Bill Clinton tried with saying that neither himself or any other President could have fixed our problems any faster. I know that in political arenas they all play for their team, but what progress is there to show us that looks like a foundation of something that can springboard into prosperity in the next 4 years? I've asked people on facebook and YouTube to tell me what they like about Obama the best they can do is say he inherited a lot of problems but nothing gets said about what he has done to solve them. He can't run on his record he can only run on the basis of 'what can Romney do that's better?' He can not run on 'we have done this and that.....' Had he supported the oil line several jobs would be created already just to get it dug and set up.

I wonder what Obama is going to use in the debates to convince us he has made things better.

I wonder what Obama is going to use in the debates to convince us he has made things better. They're using the angle that they inherited a big mess. They're also saying that his health care program is a good thing. I am not saying health care is a bad idea I *like most of the people* do not agree with the platform plan Obama used. But they're also pushing that the 'stimulus plan' That did not go anywhere! But those are the angles Obama and friends are using.
