i got mad at sports center for making craks at brett farve on tv yesterday brett favre threw the ball where it needed to be and fast and acuracte its not his falt that he has teammated that didnt catch it
the jets as a team are pretty bad theyre only in the shape they are in because of brett. if they had a lesser quarterback they would be 5 and 11 if not worse.

Brett Favre is a favorite in my Family too. Classic's Brother Thunderbird is a huge Brett Favre fan.

espn people keep bashing brett favre. there is no chance the jets would have been within 1 game of making the playoffs if it was not for favre the jets were at best a 5 and 11 team

Whenever a team doesn't do well they get a higher selection in the draft. If they're wise about how they approach their drafting they shouldn't be on the lower side of the spectrum for too long. Sooner or later they have to move upward good drafting and good coaching can bring them along within no more than 2 to 3 years.

I wish the Vikings could have got him. Old number 4 would have looked good in purple. I don't think it's possible though. That's the last place the Packers wanted to see him go. I will always be a Brett Farve fan.

The Jets didn't make the playoffs but they had the chance to thanks to Brett Favre. Had they not had Brett they would have been out of contention by the end of September.
How could Jets fans not think he improved their team?

Winning sells tickets and 2 and 14 teams don't pack them in there. If you have a chance at the playoffs you sell out probably every time. A city like New York obviously has a bigger crowd since there's 20 million people in New York but more winning means more ticket sales more people buying your team's jersey.
I'll tell you when you need a pickme up and you see people in the stands wearing your game shirt that's a great lifter.
It's as if there's people who are counting on you to make a difference. And Favre does make a difference. I cant imagine how some people would say he was a disappointment to the Jets either. The Jets team isn't that great but they were made a partial contender due to Farvre

It'll be interesting to see what happens at Lambeau later in the season.

I never get to watch more than a quarter fo the game anymore usually. I leave around 10pm for my overnight shift. But I'm glad Brett won the game.

Haha yeah. I really like him with the Vikings. Having such an accurate QB whose so smart, coupled with Adrian Peterson and the other running backs, it forms a very balanced attack. I'm not a huge NFL fan but I tune in to every vikings games I can now.

Yeah I never thought he was washed up anyway.
You're probably more of a Toronto Argonauts fan.

I'm not even a Vikings fan but Jared Allen is one of my favorite NFL players, and Antoine Winfield is still repping the Buckeyes well.

I can fully understand not calling it quits until you have no choice.
If I got offered another chance I would be on the filed this spring.

Haha Phil, I loved the Argos back when Damon Allen was still with them but they've done nothing since. I find more action in the CFL games, even if the talent pool is a little thinner.
