we have about 2 or 3 feet of snow. my dad plowed the snow away this morning then he went to plow the snow at both sets of my grandparents house and he has plowed the snow about 3 times already and its going to need it again real soon.
i have been outside playing in it but my mom said I have to come in for hot chocolate and lunch but I will be going back out because I love it.
im going to take my brother to sled in the back yard my sister is too small but I will show her how to sled too when she is a little bit older
i had to shovel the sidewalks and where my dads plow left a trail in front of the walks and his plow burried some boxes its my job to shovel the snow off them

I know what you mean about snow being persistent.
Well Phil gets to test his new truck and new plow again.

We had a foot of snow in the driveway, roads haven't been plowed yet, and last Thursday I got stuck in my driveway. Fun times.

Huh?? What's snow?? OUCH! Sorry guys . Bad Los Angeles humor. We have it in our Mountains . Levels down to 4000ft. Snow crippled The Grape Vine which is the major artery that separates Southern California and Northern California. Bummer for Interstate truckers. Other than that, not much to complain about. Skiing and snowboarding will be excellent this Winter. ;D

I know there's mountains and skiing in California. I know Tahoe has great skiing. I have had several teammates throughout my life who came from California and they refer sometimes to skiing and snowboarding and it just seems so unusual. If you don't live in California you think LA, San Diego hot summer hardly ever wearing coats and just about summer all year around.

We got a ton of snow here last week. Friday was a storm, then Sunday we were pounded with nearly 3 feet. I got transported to Rochester, NY then Binghamton. They put us up at a hotel Monday night and Tuesday I got home really late but still had to go back to work at 10pm. I did have Wed night [Christmas eve] off.
Today I was up early and am really tired I'm going to have to muster strength to go to work but I'll find it somewhere.
A lot of the games and gifts had to be put together and wrapped and I was not planning on double work shifting both Monday and Tuesday. My son Jason was wonderful he got the things put together including a lifttop books table I got for my mother.
Jason put it together with a little help from a boy his age. I am very impressed.

The majoriety of the snow is melted away except for the piles plowed out and a few packed areas where it was real deep today is bad though because the wind is really bad and pounding

Even a kit takes some skill to assemble. I don't think a ton of eleven year olds out together lift top tables even if the parts come in a ready made kit.

we did good with snow today. theres enough for fun but not so much you cant see around you
you can drive or go down the sidewalks and see ok and its not even too cold to go out for a walk. its windy at times but even that is not as bad as it is sometimes

I'm glad you enjoy the snow. I enjoy the snow if I don't have to go anywhere, but if I have somewhere to go, I don't enjoy it.

It's been the worst kind of winter the last week or so though. Freezing rain and ice. And more of the same. It's been a pretty snowy winter so far. But that's how it goes and there are ski resorts within a half hour of where I live so I guess its good for everybody.
