I've seen that one. lol. I've seen people like that, though not all of Americans are like that we all know that.
Anyway, it's sort of ironic as today is the Mexican Independence Day.

God I hate this country
I answered all of those correct.

I answered them all correct and our friends from the UK, Ireland, and many other countries from this forum most likely have us as a measuring stick for Americans and not so much this video blog.
Its like Jay Leno when he does 'Jay Walking' he gets answers similar to what this blog has to questions just as simple.
I also assure you my 11 year old son can answer all of those questions right and my 5 year old can answer a lot of those.
I wish I had more time to discuss this but I'm going to dash off to work right now.
But this does kind of make us look bad. It is funny what some people answered though.

If Jason knows who Koffi Annan and can explain why he's important (without wikipedia of course) I might regain faith in America.

It is kind of like J Walking. I hope that some of those people are a put on. I think a lot of them really do know the right answer.

If Jason knows who Koffi Annan and can explain why he's important (without wikipedia of course) I might regain faith in America. I'm not sure he knows who the former secretary General of the UN was. But he certainly can answer the questions like countries starting with U and the primary religion of Israel along with the questions most people should know. I'm not sure I can tell you who Koffi Annan is important. *wink*

LOL! That made my day! "What religion are Buddist Monks"? Uh.....Duh...... He he.. Thats like 'how much is a dollar ticket?' 'How much does a 16 pound bowling ball weigh?' The only thing I can hope about Jay Walking is that most people do get it right and Leno just picks out the funniest answers. I hope I did a blog about that some time ago.

I would like to agree with Phil and everybody who is saying they hand pick the dummies but I'm afraid that enough people really are that stupid we don't have to embellish it.

Terrifying....Absolutely terrifying! I wonder what this says about the quality of our public schools? I never knew that the capital of North Korea was Canberra.

I quote Homer: "Whats the number for 911?"
But then...
The emergency number in the UK is 999. So not always a stupid question, but as Homer was in the US at the time it was hilarious.

Part of me just frickin' died. _glitch_ I hope not on account of a few stupid people. It's just that I didn't know that people of such low intelligence could exist and function... and the thought that these people are going to vote in the upcoming election is terrifying. This election isn't about McCain vs. Obama, and to be honest, I'm glad that I'm only 17; I honestly don't know who I'd vote for. But if I were going to vote, I'd have really good reasons for voting for whoever I voted for. People this stupid - people that make up the general populace of America - are going to be voting. And you can be sure that they're not going to base their choice on anything of substance. That's just terrifying, if you ask me. Anyone have anything to add to this? *officially hijacks thread* _glitch_
