I'll start us off.
Today was my older son's 3rd birthday. Yesterday Blastgirl and I went shopping and got him a lot of nice things. My parents were in town for the weekend and they stayed through today. To refresh some memories they live in another state and I don't see my family all that much.
One of the gifts was a new tricycle.
I put it together this morning. It comes mostly intact but the wheels handlebars and seat and petals had to be put on.
He's thrilled so for the first time I got to go for a little bike ride with my son. We didn't go far but I rode my bike along side him and that was a milestone for us.

That sounds very sweet. How you and your son had some time together riding your bikes. I wish I had that kind of moment with my dad when I was younger. Since he was barely there when I was younger. I barely got to ride my bike with him, since he never wanted to when he visited. At least he was always there on Christmas and Thanksgiving. But that is still a great moment.
At least my dad is with me now, sure we barely get to see each other in the day, but he taught me many things. He is also going to teach me how to drive as soon as we get a car.

That is kind of cool. My 10 year old and I have a pretty good bond that started at a very young age too. I think part of it is because there's over 6 years between him and our next child but some of it is just a good bond.
Great story Classic. I'm sure the kids miss you during the baseball season.

I really miss them a lot too. I am home half of the time anyway. I just don't always go online much during the summer season.
But this is a fun time now too. And our 9 month old is beginning to recognize things. He stares at certain things and we can expect various reactions so he's getting aware of his surroundings too.

I've been mostly injury free for a while but today I skipped the gym and just decided to ride my bike a couple miles. Suddenly I got a terrible cramp in my left calf.
I had to get off the bike and walk. That didn't help very much or at all and I ended up walking the bike home because that kind of knee bending was causing the calf to cramp up again.
When I got home I had to stand with my foot on the top of the couch for a good 30 minutes to even get it to stop and there was still some of the sensation there.
I've had muscle strain and other issues before but this hurt like there's no tomorrow.

Oh my goodness. That's a very serious thing to have happen. If you cramp up and can't even bend your knee to ride a bike that's almost a seek a doctor thing that may be more than strain that could be a pulled muscle. Ignoring that is very dangerous.

Just a mention Blastgirl was not well lastnight or today she's running a fever and has not been able to be at the computer or really hardly be out of bed.
She is not avoiding Lewasite she just can't post tonight.
Tomorrow should be different but I'll make mention if that's not the case.

Our younger son is a year old as of February 11. We had a little party for him today.
My parents are in town. They're staying through tomorrow. My brothers came too. Thunderbird left after dinner for home. My other brother, his wife and their kids stayed through tonight but they're leaving early in the morning.
So it was quite an exciting weekend, especially today.

Tomorrow I leave for Spring Camp. It's going to be a relatively loose chain compared to other years . So I probably will not be here tomorrow or Monday but I should be around more often than I ever have during the baseball season.
The rest of you will hold down the fort though. You always have.

I'm up way past my said curfew but I'm not tired and I am rebellious today.

I see _glitch_ made a cameo appearance on Lewasite.
I should be active daily in just a few weeks.

In case anybody is wondering Classic arranged an annual bicycle trip we are going to have it this weekend. It's a one hundred mile bike trip where the proceeds will benefit Cystic fibrosis.

I am on the hard workout schedule right now. I really need to come to camp hard. It's only a month away. This will probably be my last year as a player but I would at least like to play the whole season and if I'm not given a contract then I walk away then.
I don't want to get cut in the season or just benched and fade into obscurity.

Phil sent this video to Clasisc's YOU TUBE channel.
I thought this might be a nice place to have it here.
I enjoyed it and I know Classic will too.

What can I say that's my latest kick.
When I was Jason's age the Fall Guy was 1 of the shows that glued me to the tv.
I have to admit my 1st truck, a 87 Chevy was the same body style as the Fall Guy's truck and that was part of what made it intriguing.
