What happed with the John Gibson from fox news supposedly mocking the death of Heath Ledger I didn't hear but I read his quote. Are people overeacting or did he really mock him? Because Ive been reading very hateful,evil and homophobic comments on youtube about Heath Ledgers death.

I have first hand understanding of reporters who don't know Sh!t from shoe polish.
Its extremely irritating. So for the sake of all I did not see that report but I hope its being blown out of proportion and John Gibson did not make any further trouble.
There's just no need to asassinate a dead man. None at all.

Yea I hope so too he was a great actor, I hope so too I never really liked John Gibson anyway I always thought he was a close minded ass hole excuse the language which is I never really watched his program. Im gonna listen it to see if he was mocking the mans death.

I agree with both you guys. A dead man is not fair game. At least not an actor or a person who did not do bad things.
If it's someone like Jeffrey Dohmer who cannibalized people, and he gets whats coming to him so be it.
Otherwise its just not good taste to make fun of a deceased person.

There's a lot of people in news media and sports media especially that take a strong stand on things when they are really clueless.
I have a nemesis or two.
A'holes saying things like "At 33 years old there's little future in minor league baseball. For the sake of youth trying to break in "Classicblast" could hang it up and step aside.
Sooner or later the old warhorse is going to have to realize his future is in back of him and he could do well to stop chasing a rainbow that has no pot of gold.

Yeah some reporters might do well to know what the heck they're talking about before they tell thousands of readers who were neutral about their opinion to look down their nose at me.

News and reports do report some crap sometimes.
Lots of times it's a take of a reporter's looks on the news rather than the actual news that is told to you. Anything can be bad for you under some circumstances. And that would be their angle to say milk was bad for you.
Every news network has a skeleton or two in the closet for various reports though.

Well, it is true. Milk can give you this sort of rock stuff in your stomach due to excessive calcium, but that's when you have too much.
Sure it's hard to get through life without using something that makes you sterile or give you cancer but to be honest, we shouldn't exaggerate too much.

I believe 95% of news is crap especially fox news. Most reports are the reporter's take on the event more than the event itself. Having been written about numerous times you wouldn't believe how often you get quoted out of context too. But that's not something you can really combat unless they really make you out to be a monster. The best you can do is chuckle and say "I never said that." |
