Scheisse! You beat me to it. I just posted the same thing but deleted it when I saw this. Anyway, it's unfortunate about that. It said on MSN he'd been turning roles for films down and was found dead in an apartment with pills by his bed. I know people make a huge fuss of celebrity deaths and it's sad regardless of how known a person was, but they do have lots of fans who are dissapointed by things like this.

It's terrible to have a young life cut short.
The circumstances if a 28 year old Heath Ledger's death has details not yet known. There's a chance it was an accidental overdose in medication for pneumonia. I know it's a longshot but they're discussion that so I'll keep an open mind for now.
About a year ago I posted a story about a former teammate who I really saw extraordinary talent in that guy. He had lost his position in baseball because of his excessive drug use and unwillingness to stop.
About a year ago he was found dead. Shot in a crackhouse!!!!
I swear on all I know about my sport this guy not only should have made the major leagues he should have been a standout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now he's someone nobody ever heard of except a few minor league ball players and a handfull of baseball scouts.
At least Heath Ledger has a good legacy to boot.
