Merv died at the age of eighty=two and he didn't suffer that much. He was hospitalized on Thursday and died on Sunday.
And he was a very accomplished man with game shows and other television events. He also owned a couple casinos and Hotels in Atlantic City. Most notably Resorts International Hotel.

Yeah, about 50% of the old game shows I've watched were created by Merv Griffin. He was a prolific guy and I'm sorry that he's died.

I read this thread making a video the other day but I misspoke I said the Price is Right instead of Jeopordy.
I remember being a very little kid he was on tv he had a talk show. It was on I want to say afternoon. Being that I was so little it couldn't have been too late at night.

Wow. I thought he passed long ago.
He was definately a genius in TV, but I haven't had a TV in quite some time.
Didn't he create 'Family Feud', too?
I'm too lazy to look it up.
