Most of the people here are conservatives... as if it were very hard to tell.
I don't think you need to take a multiple choice test to find out your political standing. If you have to be told, then maybe politics aren't for you.
I have to say I'm moderate. I agree with some conservative things and some liberal things. I just don't like Bush at all though. I don't think he's done a very good job. Let's see... for one thing, he put in a horrible excuse for an education plan in the form of No Child Left Behind. Yeah, let's make a bunch of mandates with no support from the government, and let's make sure the smarter kids don't get too far ahead of the dumber ones so they won't feel left out.

I'm conservativtive.
My union doesn't support any of the views I have because they are usually liberal. But the unions today are not how they were founded.
There's a lot of dead weight where I work, but of course we can't get rid of them because they have survived their probabion.
So missing work for no reason without calling in, getting less done than the criteria and having bad attitude means nothing you can't fire him because he's been here too long.
That leads to less pride being taken in work or effort put at the job. Unions are more supported by liberal viewers and that makes for odds sometimes.
Liberal politicians tax higher on your federal earnings. And theres family and social issues I don't care to debate right now that I have to support conservatism more. I think otherwise its a choice of dealing with 2 sets of crooks.

I just think it would be really awesome if there was no government and everyone could fend for themselves as much as they wanted. That has nothing to do with the way I answered the poll, though.. My "social freedoms" percentage is a good 8% lower than yours. Who's the real anarchist here? |

Im pretty far right politically. But I think most elected politicians are on the take. Only Harry Truman had less of his own money when he left the Presidency than when he started. He spent his own money on personal ventures. Something I doubt any President, Governor, Senator or even small town mayor has ever done.
