You mean Jerry Falwell
I tend to agree with his moral views. Although he was a Christian minister he had a large following among atheists too because even a large number of non believers felt he taught good judgment.
In his early years he took some stances that he later renounced about segregation. Mostly I would have agreed with Falwell.
At least Brick was able to unconfuse us.

You mean Jerry Falwell I tend to agree with his moral views. Although he was a Christian minister he had a large following among atheists too because even a large number of non believers felt he taught good judgment. In his early years he took some stances that he later renounced about segregation. Mostly I would have agreed with Falwell. At least Brick was able to unconfuse us. "He's been called an agent of intolerance and the founder of the anti-gay industry who regularly demonized and dehumanized gays and fought against gay rights. In the early 1980s when the AIDS pandemic was still in its early years and could have been addressed more proactively as a national health crisis he swayed public opinion against people with AIDS (PWAs) saying “AIDS is not just God's punishment for homosexuals, it is God's punishment for the society that tolerates homosexuals. After the September 11, 2001 attacks, Falwell said on the 700 Club, "I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way, all of them who have tried to secularize America. I point the finger in their face and say 'you helped this happen.'" Fellow evangelist Pat Robertson concurred with his sentiment. After heavy criticism, Falwell apologized, though he later said that he stood by his statement, stating "If we decide to change all the rules on which this Judeo-Christian nation was built, we cannot expect the Lord to put his shield of protection around us as he has in the past." Yeah, I see how you like his political veiws.

I tend to agree with his moral views. Jerry Falwell= morals? Does not compute In some ways it does. Falwell, as far as I know was married 1 time and stayed married. All of his offspring has professional and productive jobs. I would perfer he wasn't finger pointing toward specific groups, but I can see where he's coming from about moral values. In saying that ' if a society doesn't live the lord's word you might not receive his protection.' He also took a strong stand against the tv ministers who didn't live the word they preached. He was very vocal about saying that such actions undermined Christian values and coming from a minister it's worse. That concept doesn't seem racial or predjudice standing alone. If added to then some wrong could come from it. Like when Jesse Jackson condemned racial predjudice and called New York 'himytown' sp it was worse coming from someone who supposidly had an antipredjudice view point. Anyway that's how Phil the Polock feels about jerry Falwell.

A father watched his young daughter playing in the garden. He smiled as he reflected on how sweet and pure his little girl was. He thought about her seeing the wonders of nature through such innocent eyes. Suddenly she just stopped and stared at the ground. He went over to her to see what work of God had captured her attention. He noticed she was looking at two spiders mating.
"Daddy, what are those two spiders doing?" she asked.
"They're mating," her father replied.
"What do you call the spider on top?" she asked.
"That's a Daddy Longlegs," her father answered.
"So, the other one is a Mommy Longlegs?" the little girl asked.
As his heart soared with the joy of such a cute and innocent question, he replied "No dear. Both of them are Daddy Longlegs."
The little girl, looking a little puzzled, thought for a moment, then took her foot and stomped them flat and said, "Well, we're not having any of that Brokeback-Mountain sh*t in our garden."
