Postage went up to .41 cents. It went up about 3 years ago and now its up again. Its only 2 cents but Im mad because I bought myself 3 rolls of stamps for 117 and that lasts me about a year but now theyre all no good unless I buy 3 rolls of 2 cent stamps. Im just mad right now.

Someone said once their computer logged on and said "Youve got mail." so they went out and checked their mailbox and it was empty.

...That was me. God could we all just leave it alone now. I'll never live this one down if everyone keeps bringing it back up.
;D
Here in the cold north they changed the price of stamps recently but I was still able to mail an item with the old postage because Canada Post was still going to accept the old stamps for a few weeks. That was rather epically kind of them. They get a Tim Bit.

I haven't ever used the standard mail system in my life. Only phones and E-Mail. I have used the mail system for packages though. But only for Christmas xD

It's pretty much a no choice situation. You need letters transported and so you pay the price of the new postage or the letter doesn't get there.
I suppose you can use some online bill paying but I've never been much for that.

I might end up unpopular for saying this but I'm the last person to complain about postage and gas prices. Gas prices in proportion took much longer to tripple in price compared to other things.
I remember when you could sometimes find a 12 oz can of Pepsi for .25cents. It was usually more than that at the time it was probably more like .40 most places, but there was a gas station I could ride my bike to and it was just a quarter. Now they're around 1.20 basically a tripple.
Same with a candy bar. When I was about Jason's age I would ride my bike to a corner store and with a quarter I'd get a candy bar for .22 and use the .03 change to get 3 gumballs in the machine for a penny each.
Now the same candy bar is about .70 so that's more than a tripple in price too. At that time a stamp was .15 and gas was about 1.30 a gallon. I realize it went cheaper in the 1980s when I started driving around 1987 it was under a buck but that was a short period of time.
By the same proportion of the Pepsi and candy bar the stamp would be .45 and the gas would be 3.90.
My Chevy Silverado is a 2002 my price for it was 28,900 for a 2500 series mostly well equipped. My father only paid 14,700 for a similar truck in 1987. So that's just how it goes inflation is just a normal thing.

No fair Phil we wanted to squawk about higher prices. You bring up the inflation and other demographics when we're trying to balk over it all.
