Probably because it doesn't affect you directly. If it was someone close to you like a friend or a family member, I'm fairly certain it would affect you at that point.

actually any death. my mom's friend who was a very close family friend who was basically part of the family died and I still don't feel anything. Maybe it's my medication but I don't know.
