December 7 marks the 65 anniversary of Pearl Harbor.
I for one think it reminds me of how America felt on September 11, 2001.
Sept 11 may have been a little worse because the attacked in the twin towers were everyday individuals. At least the Navy base at Pearl Harbor was a military base attacked for an act of war. But it was a blind sided attack just the same.
We must always remember and salute the guys who make this possible for us. I was fortunate enough to see the USS Arizona Memorial when I was seventeen years old.

I have never been to Hawaii but I have seen 'ground zero' where the towers were located. I was by there a number of times in the 1st year after that happend.
So it's been 65 years now since Pearl Harbor.
Hopefully nothing like that or September 11 will ever happen again. As it is Jason will be telling his children and grandchildren about September 11. He was only about 4 but he does remember it.

My grandpa talks about pearl harbor he was about 10 or 12 when it happend.
He talks about it sometimes and says that September 11 reminded him of Pearl Harbor in the same way the country baneded together for a few weeks or even a few months but they congress soon went into partizen issues like they always do.
It's too bad it takes something terrible to bring everyone together.
