A guy at work has a cell phone that has someone else's voice say 'Paul no longer has this number and I do not have his current 1.'
That's so bill collectors can't reach him.
Another guy Sunday bets of football games and doesn't fare well this week so he gets mad and drinks like a fish.
Big surprise he can't come in Monday because he's sick. So I get made to pull a double after being on the job all night.
I don' t mind doing double duty for someone who is really ill but I don't want to work a 16 hour day so some moron who wastes his money can sleep off a hangover.

Awesome.
( That you're against him that is! =P )
You should tell him how you feel, maybe your words will effect his actions!

That is so immature to miss the responsibility of a job just for one's own selfishness. It reminds me of my post about Scott Free. It's similar because they're both stories about not being responsible.

It seems like I usually reply to other people's topics with a story that tries to relate but I have seen that too.
We had a guy come to spring training a few years back. He was not on time any of the days of training and his excuse is nobody called him to get him to wake him up.
What kind of crap is that? It's your job to be there. Needless to say he got cut. You don't make a AA team call you and you don't get too much pampering at out level.
If you're a New York Yankee and you have potential to be the next Derek Jeter or Reggie Jackson then you might get them to hold your hand somewhat but not in the minors.

Tonight I work from 11pm to 7am when he shows up I am going to remind him that his immature ways are terribly disruptive. I had to stay for a double that meant my wife had to bring my 3 year old to my parents house. Then my parents had to be at my house to pick up Jason when he got off the school bus. I don't let him be home alone yet. And by the time I get home it's 430pm I've had a double shift and not slept so yeah he should be told all of those things.
