I hope everybody has a wonderful Christmas. I know I will. I love singing carols and exchanging gifts and not having to do school or work. ;D I hope Santa Clauss is good to everybody.

C&P from tm:
A list of presents (in no particular order, just when I thought of them):
1) Mangoose 21 speed exspensive nice awesome bike 2) Programming kit for my vex robotics kit - I can connect my robots to the computer and make them do stuff by reacting to sensors and stuff instead of remote control 3) omni-directional wheels - wheels that have other wheels in the side so they can slide back and forth, also for vex 4) various other vex stuff like a light sensor and extra gears and bumper switches, along with a motor so I can do 4 wheel drive 5) one of those puzzles where you have to try to take one piece out of the other 6) a big toolbox for all my vex stuff. It can hold all the parts and has a slide-out piece for nuts and bolts and such 7) a calvin and hobbes book 8) a book on photoshopping things, though I have gimp so it might be just a bit hard to do 9) a magic the gathering starter deck 10) some pokemon cards 11) 2 decks of nascar (Jeff Gorden) themed playing cards 12) a big book of guitar chords 13) a total of $90 that I can put toward a ds 14) one of those screens that attaches to the back of the headrest erm... I think that's it... wait! no... erm... yeah that's it

im_an_alien you are going to be busy that's quite a list of things. Good fun stuff. I got mostly sweaters and DVDs. My oldest brother got me Sanford and Son seasons one two and three. My parents got me the Night Stalker. That only ran two seasons. My wife got me the www.justballgloves.com/products/detail_view.asp?i=1195I have had my eye on this for months since it's introduction. I probably have twenty gloves that I haven't gotten rid of because unless they tear up bad I don't toss them. There's always that community chairty game. Anyway that's something I had been looking at because the design is sweet so are the colors. I just hadn't made the decision to buy but I'm bringing that to spring training this year.

Darn Classic that's a lot of dough for a piece of leather for your hand.
But then agian it's a tool of your job. It's not like you're playing for a community team. Can just anyone buy the same gloves as you wear?
I don't know a whole lot about baseball equipment but it looks like a great mit.

Classic, that is a beautiful baseball mitt.
I'm getting some money in the mail from my brother tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have enough to buy some new studio-quality headphones and 1 GB RAM for my desktop to make it audio-ready. (We had to get rid of the laptop and I haven't been able to make music since!)
Today I bought a carrying case for my DS with some money I got from taking a track jacket that I got for Christmas that was too small back.

Can just anyone buy the same gloves as you wear? Oh yeah, they're not exclusive to pro use. I'm not anywhere near high enough on the charts to get a signature series model either. So there's nothing I can get for my use that can't be gotten by everybody. Sometimes there's items that I could get through the league that might be available to me before they hit the public sales but that's at most three or four weeks other than that everyone else has the same opportunity as we do for baseball equipment we're just AA guys after all. Guys like Manny Remirez, Derek Jeter and the major league stars can get a signature series then they get royalties for each bat, glove and other item that gets sold. I'm not at that point though.
