That is sad indeed. Steve Irwin was a guy who lived close to the edge and thrill seakers often do die suddenly and in the lind of duty.

No doubt this is tragic. I did get mad at him when he held his baby over the crocodiles 1 time though. I do think Steve lived on the edge and put himself and others at serious risk and that's the very thing that ended up killing him.
Just like Dale Earnhardt the race car driver was agressive on the track. He often bumped people out of his way and ultimately that's how he died. It seems to work out that way.

What I did not know until I just read is that stingrays are not usually dangerous to humans. There is a poisonous venim in them but had the Crocadile Hunter been stung in the arm or leg he probably would not have died. In fact he would probably have just had some minor discomfort for a day or 2.
But the fact that he got stung between the ribs the poison stopped his heart. According to reports this was a very freak thing that he would get killed as a result of this.

I just read on the news that an 81 year old boater was stung in the chest by a Ray off of Florida. The Stingray supposidly jumped out of the water and stabbed the boater.
The boater was alive and in critical condition the stingray died on board his boat.
Fishing experts say that rays have been known to be docile, I wonder if there's a new breed that's more aggressive or if that's just a bad luck thing that the man got stabbed accidently
It can be worrysome but I guess the odds of being stung by a ray are rather remote.

I didn't see that perticular news story but I think sometimes people adjatate animals.
My friends would wave a stick near a snapping turtle and when they turtle would break the stick they would say that they're nasty.
It's like Hello, how would you like someone waving a stick in your face.
I don't know this perticular story and I am not saying that's what happend I just say in general sometimes people are bothering animals before they get zapped.

I read about both of them very sad. I think that older man is going to survive.
