John Kerr was found in Thailand. He has confessed to the murder of JonBenet Remsey in 1996. But he is presenting his guilt as an 'accidental death.'
Do you believe he is the real killer or do you think he is another nutjob seeking publicity?
I think cautiously that he is the real guy. He's weird and he was released from his teaching position for molesting small children.
People like that just need to be fried thats all there is to it.

That would be John Karr
I think he could be the real killer, but I dunno, I'm not really paying attention to the news and stuff much.

It's looking like Karr might be a weirdo looking for press. There's people saying that he was in another state when the murder happend. He doesn't seem to be playing with a full deck anyway.

He's eve admitted to killing her either... he's just said that he was there when she died. My opinion? Someone in the family did it. Either the parents or the brother. Who could sneak into a locked house with no sign of forced entry, know exactly where to find a pen and paper to write a ransom note, and kill someone with little sign of struggle? Maybe it was the same mystery person that killed OJ's wife.

It seems as if there is a pattern of people that seek publicity for things like this. That was on MSN tonight that there have been such cases before.
A man named Henry Lucas was one who had murdered some people but they also found out that while he was in prison he was liking the attention so he read about some other murders and claimed to be guilty of them too.

WTF. What would make somebody so twisted and desperate for attention that they would admit to a murder they didn't commit?

I agree with you Glicth it has to be demented to claim somebody else's murder.

That is demented but the John Karr. When I 1st read the article I thought his name was Kerr. Sorry about that. Well he seems like a no life dweeb with mental issues.
I also think a lot of times that the Ramseys making a specticle of their little child made her a target too.

What do you think they should do if it turns out for sure that Karr is a fake? He has taken International press, and made investigators, lawyers and courst waste a lot of time and even money of going to get him and bringing him to where they could process him legally.
I think they should at least put him on trial for being a fake and possibly even imprison him.

They should make him wash hospital bedpans for the rest of his life.

What I really don't get is why the case was so huge to begin with. Little girls are killed every day, and yet how many cases are shoved down our throats on every news channel? A life was taken and that's wrong, I know. But why don't so many other people wrongly killed get the same attention?
A couple years ago a cop in my town was shot and killed while on duty, o more than five miles from my house. A manhunt ensued followed by a huge (in my town at least) trial. It may have gotten attention from the local paper and a few quick spots on the area news, but it never reached the national level. Was his not as significant as that of a little girl? Of course he was a cop and knew every day that his life was in danger, but it's just the way that some truly important things are overlooked.
Alright so I vented a little bit. I still think the parents had something to do with it. That is all.

I think I can see why there's more press there. Not only was JonBonet a little girl, but this happend in the Ramsey home and there's no proof that a Parent or anybody else is responsible.
The case could very well have been botched by authorities and can't be solved now.
But it's a little more usual for a Policeman to be killed in the line of duty and a hard time finding the killer than a scenario like that.
Not that the Policeman's life isn't just as valuable but I think that people generally speaking are more prepared for a story like that.

At least he is going to stand trial for something. This whole thing is messed up and I agree I'm sure the Parents had something to do with it too.
