That's not a guy's name, it's an expression of someone who got away with something.
A girl in our office was in a vehicle rollover three months ago. She rolled her vehicle and was taken in and after being treated, she was processed for Driving while Intoxicated (DWI).
And she even knew that she was drunk. At work she mentioned a number of times about that. It finally went to a hearing yesterday morning, so she took the morning off for court.
They just released her with a Not Guilty virdict. No loss of license or additional fines at all. (Other than paying a Lawyer and Court Charges whatever they are.)
Now she's all high and mighty as if she was not in the wrong now.
If somebody were in that situation it could be possible for them to learn a lesson and not necessarily have to have ramifications in order to have learned the lesson. A wrecked vehicle, bruises, and court might be enough for some people to learn the reality of the situation.
I don't think that's what has happend here. I think this person now figures that she has done no wrong.
I feel badly about it because of this.

The worst thing about this would be that said person will try it again, possibly endangering lives.
People are morons.

People like that have an arrogance level that is unbelievable. Instead of feeling lucky not having the book thrown at them they think they were not in the wrong.

I don't like it when people don't take responsibility for what they do.
It's like lighting a match over a gas can, having your hand explode and then a lawyer somehow makes it look like the gas gan manufacturer was at fault.
People can suck sometimes.

I think it sucks because that person was bragging about that again last night at a get together. I dont work with Blastgirl but I know who this associate is and that does suck.
I agree it would be different if she were thinking about how lucky she is to not be nabbed but thats not the case.

Most people don't raise their standards unless higher standards are demanded from them.

At least I know if I did something stupid and can admit it. But most people can't do that for some reason.
