In my area school taxes have gone up twice in 5 years. I understand expenses do go up look at gasoline and other energy bills. So I understood the increase the other 2 times.

Now there's a vote today that would try to improve some of the school programs that we already have and that would also increase taxes again next year.

My wife and I voted no. The budget has increased enough for the time being.

I think a good rule of thumb for any referendum is if in doubt vote no. Yes votes only raise taxes. ;D
