I just read the hippocratic oath, and came across these two lines: "I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone.... Nor will I give a woman a pessary to procure abortion." in my opinion, the first line directly conflicts the next. not getting rid of an unwanted embryo could make someone's whole life miserable. abortion could save them years of hardship, poverty, and possibly death. if someone gets pregnant, can't take care of a baby, and can't abort, they will end up dead, poverty-stricken, or sending their child to an orphanage, and the kid won't have a very good life or a very good death if they die. and what about rape? it's not their fault they're pregnant.

Having carried a Baby for nine months and going through the Labor showed me over and over again the sweetness of life.
Every January I go to Washington and march for Life.
There is nothing under any conditions that would ever make me believe in abortions. And yes even if I was raped or my life might be in danger if I tried to carry the Baby to term.

....and if you had nine kids and no job or husband, and this one's going to have Down's Syndrome and/or probably kill you?

I would have the Baby still.
Even with the exaggeration of nine kids and no Husband (Which shouldn't be get kids but it does anyway a lot of times)
I have often realized that I would have a child even if it endangered my own life because the child should have a chance to be born.

like you even care about our moods anymore. Blastgirl, I agree %10000 percent. I would have the child(if I was a mother ) more then a great life. when people abandon a child, it's almost like killing yourself IMO. even if I was going to die because of the child(ren) I would keep them. all of them.

your=our. we all hate you and I'm about to make a pixel-style kill. All I can say about this is that you seem to be acting very very childish in this (and all other situations with bro_c) situation. Even if your intentions are good you are still coming off very childish and annoying. I have spoken.

Lets review shall we? Also, nobodyc, without me, you would still be banned. I unbanned you a while ago. Remember when most of you were banned? Couldn't access the forum? Yes, that was a. . . few months ago. Well, I ended up unbanning nobodyc. -Bro_c This is indeed absolute fact, he was at this computer that I am currently typing this post from and I watched over his shoulder as he took you name, IP, and E-Mail off the ban list. And no we are not brothers as I know someone would have asked the question. And you have just done some of what he let you back for, take a look. The kid is gently caressing hilarious -Bro_c your=our. we all hate you and I'm about to make a pixel-style kill. [/Off topic] Well I myself think that it is the decision of the parent and the family to decide to about or not, this is after all a free country for people to make their own decisions.

eh. I agree with little_c10(again we're not related), even though I said I would rather have the child then a good life it's still up to the family to decide. there is such a thing as too many kids, so I still have my vieww of the issue as "it's the FAMILY's decision."
