Does anyone here besides me and my family see numbers and letters as colors? Theres a wiki article here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia
Some people have it, and others don't. You can tell pretty easily that you have it though, as the colors just come to you when you think of a number or letter. My mom sees numbers as very strong colors, but to here not many letters have colors. I seem to see stronger colors in letters than in numbers, so it varies from person to person.
If you do have this, what color are all the letters and numbers to you?
For me, its:
A=red
B=yellow-orangish
C=white
D=brownish black
E=green
F=brown
G=yellow
H=kind of beige
I=yellow-white
J=purple
K=yellow
L=white
M=magenta
N=dark purple
O=white-yellow
P=green
Q=uhh.. kind of blackish purple. like dark licorice
R=brown
S=same as Q
T=green
U= I don't really see this letter that strongly, but purlpe/blue
V=magenta
W=also magenta, but slightly lighter than V
X=gray
Y=purple
Z=black. But not pitch black, just black. There might be a bit of blue in there also.
I also see some of the days of the week as colors.
Monday=magenta
Tuesday=green in the morning, yellow-green in the afternoon.
Wednsday=magenta
Thursday=brown
Friday=black-ish
Saturday=blue. A deep, intense, slightly darker than normal blue. A very satisfying color, which fits a very satisfying day of the week.
Sunday=a slightly lighter, dirtier blue than saturday. Think of a blue sky with lots of smog.
And other words too:
Classicblast=The classic part is black licorice colored and shiny/squishy like his avatar. The blast part is yellow-orange.
Hatson=beige
Blastgirl=not a very clear color.. Kind of yellow-and-red-at-the-speed-of-light color.
Anyone who wants their name colored, just post and I'll tell you.
Then theres numbers, which don't come that strongly to me.
1=white/yellow
2=blue.. yeah, light blue
3=green
4=brown
5=lighter old-horse-poop-brown
6=magenta
7=same as 1
8=black licorice, and shiny/squishy. Kind of like a black ball of tootsie roll. You know how when you roll up a tootsie roll by rubbing it around pressed between your hands it gets all shiny, except black. Or you can just look at the linux penguin.
9=magenta again
Then for double-digets, its pretty much a combination between the two single-digit numbers in the double-digit number.
Hmm.. Thats about it. All this might make me seem a little crazy, but hey, I probably am.
