Wait, have a Tripod page linking to different blogger entries, which would be edited to house areas? Like, and entry for images, which would be updated?
That's a good way to bypass ads. Tomorrow I'll look into some blogger settings to see if we can manage it compleatly on blogger.

I have an idea! How about we dump the site builder, script the entire appearance of the site on flash and give the viewers a direct link to the swf.
EDIT: is there a way to javascript a re-direction on a tripod sub-domain or a .tk address?

Like, Just think, with flash you can put an image anywhere on the page... not just where tripod says you can.

Or if you know HTML.
A flash site would make it one man'd.
You'd need the fla file to edit, and some of us don't have flash.

After playing with the blogger idea, I found it will be VERY good. You can see my demented test: lsntesterer.blogspot.com/What happens is, using certain settings, you can make it appear as a web site. Every LS member will need a blogger account. They will be added to the list of people working on the blog. There will be many entries made that will start empty. Each will be the future house of something. Weather it be images, stories, news, or what ever. One entry will be the main page. It's date will be set far ahead of everything else, keeping it on top. It will contain links to other pages. Jobs will now be more joby. You'll be assigned to a certain task. From picture manager, where you'll be incharge of the picture entry, and whatever. News people will be the ones to put down the news of LS. From resent bans, to chaos upon chaos. To whatever. News papers will also include featured things. Some people may just be all around. They maintain the links, and make sure everything is working. To go with that, the will be about the staff pages. These are where they can just descibe themselves. They can link to their own blogs there if they feel like it. I've only got a few questions. Should we have the comments area opened everywhere? Or keep only a few pages like that. It could just be up to the person maintaining the page too. Is the skin good? That's the best green skin I saw. If you make an account on blogger, make a fake blog to play around with the skins, and see if you see a better one. So what do you guys think? We can compleatly forget Tripod al together with this. |

I like it, but...I dunno, is there anyway to monitor who changes what? I mean, after rylan and all, I'm a bit more...paranoid about giving power to like...7-10 people.
EDIT: Oh, and also, how do we make blogger accounts to edit the LSN site? I already have a blogger account though...

I just got an Idea... making the news fader completely LSN run. And making the whole thing a link to LSN. Then we could get the public of lewasite to see LSN more frequently.
