My BSP Game

The program I'm using is fine for RPGs, I don't know about MMORPGs though, I'll keep working at it, and if anyone knows any other programs that make games (not game maker or RPG toolkit) it would be appreciated if you told me about them.

Anyway this thread is to post features you think would be good for the game.

I have a list of questions:

Should the players be characters or "pixel people"
example: slippy0 is that frog thing.

If The above question is answered "pixel people" than I am going to need the hair color and clothes you want, if you want to appear in the game. Matermine is probably going to be a peasant. (any objections?)

Question for Cubed: is LSN more "News Station" or "Newspaper?"

If LSN is a News Station, what channel is it.

I'm going to make the dialogue very realistic, that's why I'll need type overs (name ripped off from voice overs) Because I can't type in full 1337 (Spartan) and I don't know the frequency of cubed's spelling errors.

This game will have a lot of epic (sorta) music. So I will be hiring MrWheely92.

Sweet. I think we can hold off the Mass Multiplayer for a bit. I actully have been thinking about this. But, I have no real programing skillz, and I suck at spelling. ;D I like the idea of pixel people. Hewes my ideas:


If you do chose to have it so you can play as who you are this would be more complicated. When you would make a new game, you can pick a 'Member' or creat a new account and be just a normal person. There are some peoblems with this. I was kinda thinking the game would play as you go around doing tasks for people and a story would unfold. Such as Matermine would be a Pesant-like person, and he would think he's a super hero, and he asks you to get his cape for him. What if you ARE matermine?

My other idea is to make it so you are always a certain character that you name. That way, you wouldn't see double. Maybe you could enter a code to look more like yourself.


Are you doing voice overs? I don't think you should. Just diolog is fine.

Just gimme black clothes and make my hair half blond. (meaning one side is black and the other side is blond). Yes, I really dye my hair like that.

And you should play as a new member, you can give yourself a name and stuff. I think it would be cool to see yourself in a game.

I experimented with the MMO, It's not possible on my program without complicated coding, and besides only for people could play at once if it were MMO.

no voice overs, type overs, as in copy paste, It wasn't me pretending to be someone.

I think the game set up is good, we can make this like real-life, you should start out a guest, go to the the new members (a toll gate to get into town) and become a new member, as you do tasks you get upgraded and eventually become god.

The game (if it happens) won't be released until early December, but my Idea is to upgrade the game every few weeks, everyone on the secwett member list will be added to the game, If you are removed from the list, you are still immortilized into the game.

Using activeX controls you can be on lewasite while you are playing the game, there wil be a miniature window on the playfield.

It is a standard mission completing game, And I have some really good Ideas, Drive Spartan's car, help Matermine with his peasantly chores, choose a shroom team and run LSN errands for you.

Here are my ideas. (just stating them, even though some are already down) You basicly go around compleating people's tasks. You chose what task you want to do by talking to different people. Such as: You could either help cubed05 find his house, or help matermine defeat evil, or help yourself by going to sizzlepop and getting a 1337 translator so you can understande Spartan. Certain task can only be done if other tasks are done. Such as: You can only drive Spartan's car to his house when you get the 1337 translator. To get a task, go up to someone and pick 'Any thing I can help with?'. There could be some other opitions too. Eventuly, the great Shroom War will begin. You must pick a side and help it. Or, just be against the whole thing (anti-banners). Eventuly a story should unfold, maybe Sam Holt would be trying to turn LS into a land of misery and spam. And eagel would help him. What do you guys think of that?

P.S. LSN is a News Station thing. It's channel 4 and a half news.

Screenshots? Well I can have them soon, but the thing is I'm making LSW on a different computer. (more memory, no network)

When I'm finished should I put LSW in a plug-in on LSN or a download.

we could all put in our own story,

"Matermine was in his office one day (board) and setting things up, when all of a sudden.....BOOM!!!
And eagle swooped down and took Matermine's papers and replaced with SPAM!!! he heres Sam Holt give an evil cackle (cackle cackle) (dun dun duuuuu) "no! my papers!" says matermine. "this looks like a job for... (he jumps into his utility closet (profile page)) SUPER PEASENT MAN!!!!!! Super peasent man quickly grabs a frying pan from his peasenty utility belt and wacks the eagle out cold!he chucks his spam at sam and yells 'y4y'!!!

Super peasent man will return after a word from these messages lol
