I dunno why, but I always like getting people excited. I have this idea, that we should make a BackStagePass thing. Pre-View something after it's been fixed up. In other words, when we have issue 3 all fixed and done, instead of releasing it, we let whoever is the BSP get to view it first. We could hold a contest or something. It would be only for 1 issue, and if theres a feature underway. Any thoughts?

Maybe it could be whoever wins the coolest Mushroom Sig competition. (By the way, Im currently in the lead! Go Me!)
It could be the reward for winning once the polls close.

I like the idea, cube!
I think I know how we could hold competitions. See, at my groupboard at my site, you can play games like Sub War ( battleships ), tank attack ( you be little tanks and shoot at the other players) and checkers and other stuff. We could organize leagues and such, and then like the winner could become a BSPasser.
What do you think? just a suggestion.

ya, I like that idea too. the mushroom sig contest would be a little more relevant to LSN, but im pretty sure half the entrants have already read issue 3, so that wouldnt work. so when would the BSP(s) be issued?

Once we finish Issue three we could give the BSPs out, then release it after a day or two.

the link is http://all_around_stuff.tripod.com and then on the side-bar click on groupboard. The java thingy is required. To do games you have to click on the games button in the groupboard. |

It might not work but, I'm going to try to get a game programing program for my birthday, I can make an infinite player game, I just need to figure out how to set up the ActiveX and network, Right now I am using the trial version which allows anything except saving executable files. The final game if it happens will be in the form of an ftp plug-in.
