theres a football orginaziaion called the trailblazers they have travel teams you can play against other teams from other towns.
they have a adult chapter that plays
then theres a teenage group and a little loop age group
i was at tryouts for trailblazers littleloop football. if I make it it starts in september and plays until november about 10 games
if I dont make it I will try out for my school 5th and 6th greaders team this year.
my mom said that I should realize I might not make the trailblazers my first time trying beacus theres going to be lots of people from a span of 20 miles who can tryout. but I can go and hope for the best.
i go back tomorrow and tryout for the team
they let us know tuesday who is going to make their team
i am excited to do this this year I will have played baseball, socer, basketball and football
i might get to play rollerhockey this winter too
anyway I hope to make the trailblazers but if not I think I can play for the 5th and 6th grade school team

Jason. Try out and work hard. Reach down and try to bring out a little extra each time show those coaches just how badly they need you. convince them they need you.

You're quite the jock we have there.  Good luck with The Trailblazers. Personally I would of liked you to stick with soccer. ;D |

I will still play soccer I like to play everything
soccer is almost over for this year baseball and soccer will both be over by the end of july.
i take it you play soccer
im a midfielder what position do you play

I play striker(person who scores) in outdoor and mid in indoor.

At least you tried. And you should play for your school for a couple years and try again.
You'll get it if you keep trying. Most people don't make teams the first time they try.

Good job trying out Jason.
Don't allow that to discourage you you just have to play for your school like you said and tryout again until you get in.
I've tried out for numerous teams and ended up getting the hatchet. That's life and it hasn't stopped me from pushing hard.

Yep It's good to be able to play for your School too. It's prestigious to be on the Football team.

He's a sturdy kid I'm sure he will have no problem getting on the school football team.
The Trailblazers is much harder for 1 thing there's so much competition. There's 35 spots and the membership tryout base is from 2 counties for a travel football team. That brings it down to 35 out of about 300 tryouters.
The odds are definitely easier for the school team.

I can't believe that we're already hearing about football news. But summer is almost half over so I guess its time to think football. I watched an Arena football game yesterday that was kind of cool I wasn't sure if it'd like it but I did.

i play for my school again
i probably wont be good enough to be a traiblazers player ever
its fun though and I am going to get to play some offense and some defense this year.

I am bumping this topic because Jason is going to play for the middle school section of the Trailblazers this year.
Is anybody else as excited about football this year? I kind of am. I don't know what makes this year more than others but I can hardly wait for the NFL. Not to wish summer away its short lived enough as it is.
