Here at college we have football in the spring time. After 15 practices that are spaced out so it isn't so much of a pain, it all culminates in a spring game. The end of spring ball also marks the end of the semester, and once that happens I go home for a cool three months. Today was the first practice. It was just in helmets so it wasn't too bad. Ill keep you guys posted about it as it progresses.

Is it a whole season played in the Spring or is it more of a keeping fit thing?

It's a set of fifteen practices, so thankfully it's not another full season. It's more about keeping us in shape as well as get our football mindset ready for the fall.
Today's practice was like yesterdays. Wasn't too bad.

It's like football's version of batting cages.

It's like football's version of batting cages. Sort of. Except we're hitting the snot out of each other instead of a ball.

That's one way to look at it. We started hitting today. I had a good practice so it's off to a good start.

Does the football team come to college a little before classes actaully start? I know some schools do it that way. Otherwise there would be little if any time to get situated on time for games to start.

That lasts through about all of August, and our first game is the first week in September. Training camp is long and it sucks.

No athletes like going through training camp. But that's what really gets you in game shape. You know how many broken bones there would be if that didn't happen that way.
I know all the speaches from Classic about training camps.
I'm giving you a hard time but I do know what you mean.

Springball ended today. I'm very happy with the progress that I made. I'm also happy that we ended it on a good note. Woohoo! Freedom until August!
