Bowling

Do you consider bowling a sport? Or just a game? Well I like to bowl Im kind of good at it. I bowl tonight in a league. ;D

Our team wins about half our games.

I consider bowling a sport. The state of Ohio does too. It's now a sanctioned varsity sport in high school.

I took my girlfriend and my brother bowling on Thursday. I hadn't bowled in about 7 months so I was a little rusty, but I bowled a 167. Meh.

That's pretty good esp if you haven't bowled in seven months.

I like bowling and I'm pretty sure most people would consider it a sport because it's a game that demands some physical play.

And the conditioning isn't quite so rigid. In fact you can drink beer, eat and smoke during the game.

Nintendo seems to think it's a sport, considering they included it in Wii Sports as one of the 5 sports. Personally I agree.

Its a sport. I bowl with Kim. It's me my buddy, Kim, her boyfriend and a girl who is a friend of Kim's. We are an ok team but we're there to mess around not to win big prizes.

my dad says that if your really polish you have to bowl atleast a little bit
i have tried it a little maybe I will do more of it this year who knows

well ive always bowled 5 pin, and just a while ago I tried 10 pin, IT WAS SO DAMN EASY. I got like 130 and two 150s.

its impossible to not get all the pins down.

There's all kinds of angle of the findangle though. Sometimes you think you get them all and theres a tricky 1 that stays up.

My Dad does the bowling in our family. He's still waiting for the perfect game, he had seven in a row the other night. I figure it should come eventually.

I bowled really well yesterday

1st game - 199
2nd game - 198
3rd game - 196

even though I bowled really well, I was so pissed off because I didnt get one 200 game, and I missed a 600 triple by only 7 points.

my average is about 160, and 180 is a Good average, the top 2 in my league have 180something averages. ive gotten a few 200 games so far, but I havent got a 600 triple yet.

i should be going to a tournament on sunday. hopefully I can replicate these games there. if I bowled these games, I could probably place

I'd say you bowled well. I wouldn't dwell on missing 200 you did great.

149. not terrible but with a 160 AVG definately not good.

Game #2
135.... nothing good was happening, was punching out headpins and splitting a lot and wasnt cleaning up my pins.

Game #3
243, my best or second best this season. I started out with 3 strikes and then just missing a strike leaving one pin up. that was the only pin I would leave up the whole game except for one more like in the 7th frame. I either got a spare or a strike, or cleaned up all of my pins.

i still couldve done better, I was getting jipped a lot with like a perfect strike shot, but 1 pin staying up.

Bowling well into the 200s is very good.

I think my dad has a 217 average, and he has had not one but TWO 298 games.

He usually says he had a good night if he reaches 750 for the three games. He usually bowls well into the 200's.

I wish there was an alley close to campus but the closest is a few miles away and I don't think I can catch a bus to it.

I'm surprised a campus the size of Ohio State doesn't have a bowling alley on campus. But a few miles away isn't so bad.
