Just because Alexander Ovechkin is a young hockey star doesn't mean his car is worth so much money. They're taking bids in $250 increments and at the momemt they're up to Forty-three grand and the reserve is not met. How can that be? Just because it was his? I don' t get it. auctions.nhl.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=69588058&prmenbr=12717464&aunbr=69934768I can't believe it. Ovechkin is only about twenty-one years old, he is going to buy cars for the rest of his life is each car going to sell for equil or more than the new price because it was his? Have him call me if he needs to borrow a car. Maybe if Ovechkin drive it the depreciation will be slower.

Look at it like this, Wayne Gretzky's rookie care in opee-chee is worth about $1500, and in topps is worth about $950. They came new with 20 in a pack for a quarter.
I hear you about the car though. That's a little stupid to be paying so much for a car just because a famous person owned it.

I think that's a little ridiculous. If anybody else were to own it the value would decrease once it was used. Not increase because Alexander Ovechkin owned it.
