Fortunately weirdo is a relative term.
I wish I had a nickel for all the people that told me to get a real job and quit pursuing a silly dream.
While I might not be a New York Yankee or a Los Angeles Dodger I've made a career of it--and not many 33 year olds are still around in the minors.
So what tests weirdo? And what's true abilities? Phys ed class never tested my true abilities. They would have tests every so often and I could have endured longer and relay races really sucked because I'd be further ahead to keep running with the baton than to dish it off to somebody else.
That's just a product of not being at the same level as other people. A good artist who was on the way to being a pro wouldn't have been challenged in a high school art class either. Just the way it is.
